Assistant Manager Brand Operations
Purpose & Overall Relevance for the Organization: Manage processes anchored in a consumer-first, data-driven approach, to ensure successful execution of seasonal GTM milestones and business needs. Proactively analyze and monitor operational processes rooted in a continuous improvement mindset.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the seasonal processes and/or system reviews with an eye towards continuous improvement, to key Category Merchandising and X-functional teams (including reporting and forecast analysis, demand, and purchasing workflows as they relate to Category Merchandising).
- Curate and organize content and recipients of bi-weekly communications packages, with particular focus, but not limited to the audience of Product Merchandising and Brand Marketing and the milestones, interactions and deliverables critical to the business).
- Compile, edit and distribute communications for the business as required per milestone, deliverable or as scheduled delivery of key information.
- Consolidate, organize and maintain comprehensive milestone playbook, reviewing and updating on seasonal basis.
- Organize interactions and collaborate with business partners to facilitate hind sighting exercises (per milestone and/or season). Integrate learnings and process changes into milestone playbook.
- Organize, document and support BU-specific process models.
- Manage quarterly Statement Excess Inventory process (data prep, stakeholder organization and process oversight).

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Intermediate to advanced knowledge of managing data (i.e. Excel, database interface)
- Ability to create reports, business correspondence and procedure manuals.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Detail and process oriented
- Ability to convey complex information to a wide group of experts and non-experts alike.
- Ability to quickly adapt to changing business processes and business partner while embracing a continuous improvement and feedback culture.
- Ability to work cross-functionally, multi-task, connect ideas and data from various sources to draw meaningful conclusions and develop innovative solutions.
- Excellent inter-personal skills and ability to find and action upon consensus within a x-functional team environment.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university
- Two to five years of experience in process management, reporting, and analysis.
- Understanding of data visualization (storytelling through and with data)
- Sports Apparel / Footwear industry specific experience preferred.
- Intermediate / Advanced MS Excel skills required.

At adidas we offer a Hybrid work policy which requires attendance in the office Monday through Thursday, with the flexibility to work remotely on Friday each week. For work requiring a high degree of collaboration or an in-person presentation, in-office attendance is required even on Friday. The working location of this position is Portland,OR.
