Assistant Manager Retail Operations Workforce Management

PURPOSE AND OVERALL RELEVANCE FOR THE ORGANIZATION

As the Assistant Manager of Retail Operations – Workforce Management, you will help elevate our store teams by simplifying back‑office processes and improving visibility into the labor data that powers great retail experiences. You will enhance and maintain our time and attendance systems, strengthen scheduling tools, and support continuous improvements that make day‑to‑day operations clearer, smarter, and more efficient. In this role, you will collaborate across the business to ensure store teams have what they need to operate smoothly and confidently.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Strengthen reporting tools so store leaders can make informed, timely decisions.
  • Uphold scheduling standards and labor guidelines to support consistency across all stores.
  • Partner with store teams to understand operational needs and offer practical, effective solutions.
  • Support rollout of system updates with a focus on ease of use for retail teams.
  • Maintain labor compliance tracking to protect the business and support fair scheduling practices.

KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND ABILITIES

  • Experience in retail operations, store management, or workforce scheduling in a multi‑store environment
  • Familiarity with workforce management or scheduling systems
  • Strong organizational capability with the ability to manage shifting priorities
  • Comfort working with labor metrics, schedule analytics, KPIs, and dashboards
  • Clear communication skills with the ability to guide and support store leadership teams

REQUISITE EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE / MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • A bachelor's degree in Business, Procurement, Supply Chain, or a related field
  • 2–3 years of relevant experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Retail store operations experience preferred
  • Workforce management or Dayforce experience preferred
  • Ability to alternate between sitting and standing for extended periods
  • Hybrid work model: in‑office Monday–Thursday with remote flexibility on Friday
