Assistant Manager Sales Analytics

Purpose: As part of the Wholesale Sales Analytics team at adidas, you are responsible for supporting the Wholesale business by performing end-to-end analysis, with the support of the Sale Analytics team. You will be responsible for delivering analytics services to stakeholders, enabling them to make fact-based decisions. You will be required to use multiple data sources and partner with several cross-functional teams to generate insights for the Wholesale business. Your analytics work will be focused on elevating reporting, developing automated processes, and supporting planning and forecasting to help drive sales. There will be a strong focus on discovering meaningful, data driven, insights around marketing analytics, opportunity analysis, trade compliance, and sell-out reporting. You will do this work with your team members and manager and take on projects as an individual contributor with autonomy over your work.
Key Accountabilities:
Analytics
- Support the Sales Analytics Managers team by providing necessary datasets, data analysis methods, and collaboration to drive action-oriented insights
- Support Sales Analytics team by sourcing, manipulating, joining, and cleaning various datasets from 1st and 3rd party sources
- Serve as a key resource for ad hoc analytics, supporting ongoing projects and informing the team on current and future business trends and present findings.
- Collaborate with analytics counterparts in Digital, Data & Analytics, Sales, and Planning and Development to ideate and generate more in depth and relevant analysis.
- Liaison with Global Analytics and Business Insights teams to share best practices, utilize global tools & keep team informed of initiatives
Consulting
- Act as the subject matter expert relating to any digital, web, and social media analytics for wholesale channels.
- Prepare recommendations and alternatives based on business analysis to maximize sales, profitability, or customer experience.
- Present findings, analysis and relevant data to stakeholders and customers.
- Support management with facilitating tool demo sessions and upskilling business partners on digital e-commerce tools, empowering them to make autonomous data-driven decisions.
- Actively pursue continuous process improvement and shared best practices within industry standards, present opportunities to management for consideration.
- Support cross-functional strategic projects as needed
Reporting
- Create and execute daily, weekly, and monthly reporting for the wholesale organization to drive both in-season opportunities and future season planning.
- Aid in identifying, reporting, and resolving technical reporting related issues
- Create, manage, and improve data visualization dashboards to support business objectives and enable business partners to make data-driven decisions.

Qualifications :
- Minimum of 2+ years of professional work experience
- Degree from college/university business analytics, economics, systems science, or other related field or equivalent combination of experience and education in lieu of degree
- eCommerce, retail, or omnichannel experience a plus
- Go-to-Market experience a plus
- Experience in database management and extraction a plus
- Experience in the following:
- Data visualization (PowerBI)
- Software: PowerBI, R Studio, Alteryx, Databricks.
- Languages: R, SQL, Python.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
- Experience with Smartsheet or other project management software a plus
