Asst Mgr Audience Management
PURPOSE & OVERALL RELEVANCE FOR THE ORGANIZATION:
We believe that by using data more intelligently, we can engage our consumers in a more timely, relevant and consistent way. The Assistant Manager, Audiences will help us centralize audience data for streamlined extraction & deployment to multiple marketing channels. This role plays a pivotal part on our North America (NAM) One Media team by identifying and categorizing target audiences based on demographics, behaviors, preferences, and other key data points. The key contribution of the role is to create a better connection and engagement between the brand and consumers using data as the creative inspiration.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Support audience activation and analytical tools for NAM, driving functionality, process, and business value.
- Identify, manage, and optimize custom audience segments across multiple marketing platforms.
- Analyze audience performance and share actionable insights and best practices with cross-functional teams.
- Maintain consistent taxonomy and classification standards.
- Assist with NAM paid media audience strategy, partnering with internal teams, external agencies, and platform partners to evolve the overarching approach.
- Contribute to the development and execution of adidas NAM performance display and paid social channels.
- Collaborate with Performance and Brand Marketing, Analytics, CRM, Membership and Personalization teams in NAM and globally to drive cross-channel synergies.
- Leverage channel data and industry trends to identify and execute tests, enhance reporting, and implement optimizations to improve audience and business outcomes.
- Continuously evaluate and automate processes to increase efficiency across performance marketing channels.
- Manage regular and ad hoc reporting.
- KPIs: incremental revenue and return on ad spend (ROAS), traffic, new visitors, lead generation

- Global Paid Traffic Generation, Product Owners, Data Science
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
- Prior Customer Data Platform (CDP) experience is beneficial - e.g. Tealium, Segment, Lytics, etc.
- Deep understanding of advertising platforms, targeting and data collection, including data clean rooms
- An advanced knowledge of Web Analytics, including SQL and/or Python, with proven experience of generating insights
- Clear perspective on how media channels work together to create a cohesive, personalized marketing experience
- A commercially-minded individual with an ability to understand the sales imperatives behind the data needs
- Strong analytical, problem solving and critical thinking skills
- Ability to effectively partner with 3rd party external agencies & partner platforms
- Strong English language (written and verbal) communication skills
- Excellent cross functional relationship building skills with an ability to create rapport
- Strong time management, planning and organizational skills
- Ability to work well under pressure and to tight deadlines
- Strong quantitative and qualitative analytical skills
- Advanced computer skills with proven experience in Excel
- Strong communication/presentation skills, confidence speaking in large groups and putting forth one’s perspective and recommendations
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor or Master’s degree required
- 1-3 years in digital marketing, digital analytics, or comparable
- Knowledge of and experience working within paid advertising and/or advanced analytics platforms

At adidas we offer a Hybrid work policy which requires attendance in the office Monday through Thursday, with the flexibility to work remotely on Friday each week. For work requiring a high degree of collaboration or an in-person presentation, in-office attendance is required even on Friday. The working location of this position is Portland OR.
