Manager, Omni Inventory Planning
Purpose:
Responsible for total NAM inventory forecast and factory cancellations. Bring visibility to inventory across multiple departments to ensure transparency and alignment. Partner with leadership on decision making process to maintain a healthy business as it relates to overall inventory. Build proper processes & strategies to review new and or challenging operational/financial opportunities for the market. Lead creation of reporting suite to support and align finance leadership.
Key Accountabilities:

- Owner of the total NAM inventory forecast to support strategic decision on inventory levels through the organization.
- Manage NAM at factory cancellations Budget/Forecast. Make decision on all factory excess product and proposed destination.
- Provide clear messaging to ensure understanding with business partners and leaders on our overall inventory position/strategy for future inventory holdings
- Build strong partnership with SCM to better align Inventory FCST across the NAM organization
- Work with various business partners to analyze, review and recommend actions as it relates to inventory across the NAM network.
- Drive up/down stream improvements in reporting & analytics
- Create cohesive reports and accurate data analysis to drive overall business decisions.
- Align with Demand Planning on variances within Rolling Deman Plan and Inventory Forecast
- Support business partners and leadership team with data reporting and analysis needs.
- Collect and compile information from various departments for use in inventory forecasting.
- Provide recommendations and strategize new reporting to support the greater team.
- Collaborate cross functionally, leveraging a market level view to define insights and actions for demand planning partners.
Knowledge Skills and Abilities:

- 5-7 years experience
- Detail-oriented and able to multi-task to complete objectives on a tight timeline
- Ability to access data from a variety of database structures and put together comprehensive reporting for the team
- High level understanding of the end-to-end financial inventory planning process
- Advanced user within MS Office Suite including Data Bricks, Power Bi, SAP & SQL
- Advanced Excel skills, and a thorough understanding of macros, pivot tables, lookup formulas, formatting, etc.
- Excellent planning and organization skills, resulting in the ability to meet critical deadlines
- Able to make quick decisions off limited information
- Strong communication and presentation skills, written and verbal
- At adidas we offer a Hybrid work policy which requires attendance in the office Monday through Thursday, with the flexibility to work remotely on Friday each week. For work requiring a high degree of collaboration or an in-person presentation, in-office attendance is required even on Friday
Qualifications (Minimum required education and experience):

- University degree in Finance, Economics or Business or equivalent working experience
- Inventory management, Planning, Sales or Supply Chain experience is a plus
- Advanced Excel skills required
- Strong understanding of Data Bricks
- Familiarity with relevant industry systems/analytical software a plus
- 4-6 years Industry-specific experience preferred
