Manager, Retail Store Fixture and Engineering
Purpose & Overall Relevance for the Organization
This role is responsible for driving retail concept hardware development and sourcing for regional fixture concept adaptations while maximizing the profitability and efficiency of adapted articles into the established retail format concepts. The role is also responsible to support and train local partners to achieve price/quality ratio & speed to market in line with the growth plan and expectations and make sure the supply chain is set up efficiently.
The Manager Order Fulfillment and Engineering will manage inventory of Concept to Consumer (CTC) tools, using current and new processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Set up and work with engineering partners to support the regional business needs together with the NAM team maintaining policies & standards
- Deliver engineering packs for all iterations & bespoke elements and support NAM sourcing process for market vendors
- Manage concept life cycle and store life cycle, managing how concept changes over time are translated within store. Adjust current fixturing or procure new fixtures/materials to keep concepts current
- Manage all store fixture related orders and maintain a high level supplier to store/supply chain process
- Management of fixture procurement based upon store opening and remodeling forecast. This includes management of forecasted and bulk orders, ensuring correct order fulfillment
- Project management with external vendors, new and current
- Supports internal project process and timeline monitoring
- ensure timely, complete, and cost efficient supply of concept fixtures including claims for deficiencies and replacement of damaged items
- Creation of new vendors in SAP system
- Self-initiate assignments with emphasis on strategic, commercial and tactical focus

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
- Experience working with diverse and partly virtual teams
- Expert knowledge of manufacturing, construction and quality control processes
- Advanced negotiation and issue resolution skills
- Experience with digital Sourcing platforms
- Advanced Skills to read Engineering drawings
- Advance skills in MS Office
- Strong priority setting and ability to work under pressure
- Expertise in using multiple SAP systems (SRM, SAP, RSP, Workflow)
Requisite Education and Experience / Minimum Qualifications
- Minimum of 5+ years’ experience in managing 3rd party supplier relationships in an international context
- Experience in Retail concept hardware engineering & sourcing/Global Roll Out, preferable in the Furniture sector
- Exposure to Store Development, Merch, Supply chain beneficial
