Purpose & Overall Relevance for the Organization:
Workplaces is responsible for the active management of the Global Real Estate Portfolio including leases and transactions of all the properties as well as all design, construction and operations of offices, showrooms and distribution centers for adidas. The Workplaces team supports the successful integration of adidas values into our physical environment by creating great workplaces to attract and retain top talent across the globe. To ensure a successful and sustainable portfolio, Workplaces collaborates with an extensive network of internal and external stakeholders and industry experts to provide a value-added service.
In this role you will drive the coordination and administration of all aspects of project and change management for workplace projects on a regional level in North America. This role includes planning, organizing, leading, controlling and evaluation of workplace projects that enhance the employee experience and create a high-performance culture in which our employees feel like they belong, can be productive, and have a strong connection to our core values.
Key Responsibilities:
- Leads implementation of Global Workplace Experience & Concepts in the region (North America) through collaboration with global workplace strategists, project managers and service providers, and facilitates regional benchmarking for Global initiatives led from our Headquarters in Herzogenaurach
- Tracks industry trends and identifies opportunities for implementation in the Workplaces North America Portfolio
- Facilitates and leads Change Management conversations with Key Partners and Team Leads
- Defines and executes Change Management strategies to communicate key objectives and increase adoption and implementation of changes to workplace concepts and operations
- Provides Workplaces Project Managers and Facility Managers with tools and templates to execute Change Management across projects
- Works closely with each site’s Workplace Management lead to develop business cases, operational plans, and policies to implement new Workplace experience strategies, and presents to Workplace Management and Design & Delivery regional leadership for approval
- Provides planning assumptions for annual budget preparation and supports 5-year planning, including both global and regional Workplace Experience initiatives and concepts
- Provides internal and third-party PMs with current, updated versions of workplace concepts and standards to ensure successful implementation of those concepts and standards; to support engagement with user groups (Brand Experience, etc.) by defining requirements for workplace projects
- Facilitates and manages collection of employee feedback and user data (surveys, etc.) to support new strategy development as well as post-initiative documentation (lessons learned, key takeaways, whitepapers, etc.)
- Builds relationships and collaborates with key partners across functions and business units within adidas North America
- Supports Workplace Management and Design & Delivery regional leads in developing account relationship with key vendors (design services, furniture, etc.), as well as works closely with NTP and GBS to evaluate key regional partners

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Demonstrated ability to develop and lead strategic initiatives, drive and document business case development, and lead program implementation
- Strong functional knowledge of space programming, workplace strategy development, and real estate change management
- Substantial experience with creative design, branding, communications, customer service, and/or social media highly desirable
- Excellent communication skills including impactful presentation skills, powerful narrative abilities, nuance in style and approach to connect with a diverse set of user groups and project leads
- Highly collaborative with deep capacity to build strong individual and team relationships across the region with a variety of work groups and functions
- Pro-active (engaging & impact-oriented) mindset, ability to think critically end-to-end and continually adjust in a dynamic business environment
- Ability to travel, domestic or international, as required by your manager
Requisite Education and Experience/Minimum Qualifications:
- 5+ years real estate, facilities management, or workplace strategy experience
- University degree in design, communications, or similar. Will accept an equivalent combination of education, experience or training

We officially returned to office in a hybrid work environment, working 3 days in office and 2 days remote. The working location of this position is Spartanburg, SC or Wilkes-Barre, PA.
