The Manager of Partnership Marketing will own and evolve the North America (NAM) Gift Card business, leading end-to-end strategy and execution across digital and physical channels. This role is accountable for driving Gift Card activations, redemption strategy, and incremental eCommerce revenue & ROI through gift card programs, alternative checkout solutions, and app-based activations while managing external vendor relationships and internal cross-functional partnerships.

 

This position operates as the primary NAM subject matter expert for gift cards, supporting strategic growth via media investment, technical product leadership, and owned and third-party retail distribution expansion. The role requires strong financial discipline, analytical rigor, and operational excellence, with full ownership of budget forecasting and performance reporting. Through close collaboration with global, regional, and local stakeholders, this role will help position NAM as a center of excellence for gift card innovation and commercialization.

 

Collaboration will extend to global and regional counterparts where you will be expected to contribute to our global best practice guidelines and standards with original input and thought leadership from the key NAM market.

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

Gift Card Strategy & Revenue Growth

  • Lead and evolve the NAM Gift Card Strategy, owning end-to-end execution including vendor onboarding, channel development, and alignment with eCommerce revenue targets.
  • Drive incremental revenue and ROI through digital and in-store gift card initiatives, alternative checkout vendors, and app-based activations, including promotions and redemption campaigns.
  • Expand physical gift card distribution across grocery, big box, and wholesale partners, clearly differentiating physical retail strategy from digital programs.

 

Paid Media, Promotions & Commercial Execution

  • Develop and execute paid media strategies in partnership with third parties and internal teams to amplify gift card visibility and conversion at both full-price and off-price.
  • Own local strategy for onsite gift card promotions during key commercial periods (e.g., holidays, peak sales moments).
  • Partner with performance marketing, analytics, and eCommerce teams to ensure campaign optimization and KPI alignment.

 

Vendor, Partner & Network Management

  • Serve as the primary NAM contact for gift card networks, Buy Now Pay Later (BNPL) vendors, and physical retail partners.
  • Manage third-party relationships to ensure strong execution, seamless integration, and ongoing optimization across channels.

 

KPIs/Optimization

  • Develop and maintain forecast and reporting tools, leveraging historical performance and KPIs to inform strategic budget planning.
  • Lead ongoing weekly KPI reviews and holiday pacing analysis to ensure investment efficiency and revenue growth.
  • Provide ad-hoc reporting to key local and global stakeholders.

 

Financial Ownership & Governance

  • Own and manage the full Gift Card OPEX budget, including forecasting, pacing, and performance tracking.
  • Develop and maintain forecast and reporting tools, leveraging historical performance and KPIs to inform strategic budget planning.
  • Own the endtoend invoicing process, including IOs, POs, billing, and vendor payments.

 

Technical Leadership & Global Thought Partnership

  • Lead technical product strategy for gift cards and act as the NAM SME and global thought leader, contributing best practices and innovation to regional and global partners.
  • Partner with Global Digital Marketing, IT, and Platform teams to support technical enhancements, troubleshooting, and roadmap development.

Knowledge, Skills, Experience and Abilities:

  • Bachelor or Master’s degree required
  • 3-5 years in ecommerce and 2-3 years online marketing experience (acquired via agency, network, or brand-side experience)
  • Experience with Jira/Confluence ticketing systems
  • Proficient with Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Suite
  • Highly developed interpersonal and communication skills
  • Experience in planning and managing campaigns across multiple strategies
  • Strong leadership capability with a talent for influencing at all levels of the organization (globally, locally, internally and externally)
  • Excellent (written and verbal) communication and interpersonal skills with an ability to build strong relationships quickly as a result of a team-first mentality
  • Strong time management, organizational and prioritization skills
  • Diligence, accuracy, attention to detail and a strong work ethic

 

 

Minimum Qualifications:

 

  • Bachelor’s degree required with 3-5 years hands-on experience
  • Comprehensive understanding of digital infrastructure, including promotional engines, dashboards, and general digital marketing
  • Advanced computer skills with proven Excel experience
  • Strong quantitative and qualitative analytical skills
  • English language fluency
