Purpose:

The Senior Manager Amazon Operations is responsible for managing the orderbook from the order creation in Amazon’s system to the delivery of goods (and potentially returns) as well as leading and implementing longer term projects improving processes throughout adidas’ operations.

 

Key Accountabilities:

  • Ensure invoice target are reached by monitoring flow of orders from Amazon’s system to SAP and escalating order block removal for on time shipping
  • Create strategic change throughout the Supply Chain process to drive key performance indicators improvements
  • Develop measurements for success, lead test and learn scenarios, and drive actionable insights to optimize our process flow to impact overall On-Time, In Full (OTIF) and customer metrics (i.e. confirmation and out of stock rates)
  • Drive sales and margin growth by providing action-oriented analysis throughout the flow of product, including chargeback mitigation and On-Time optimization
  • Own all operations-based topics and input to executive-level engagements; customer top-to-tops and internal leadership reviews, providing business proposals, focused on continuous improvement
  • Leverage customer relationships as the key partner for operational excellence
  • Lead customer catalog seasonal integrity to ensure clean orders
  • Drive Wholesale change via process improvements and quarterly share sessions
  • Create monthly shipping forecast
  • Develop and maintain reports to provide visibility to KAMs and Amazon Senior Sales Director allowing them to manage their part of the business directly with Amazon

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
  • 7-8 years of experience in project management or related field
  • Strong interest in operations, process flow and streamlining capabilities
  • Ability to navigate a complex and remote stakeholder structure
  • Industry-specific experience preferred
