Sr. Analyst Tactical Deployment
Purpose & Overall Relevance for the Organization
The Sr. Analyst, Tactical Deployment plays a critical role in translating deployment strategy into operational execution across the North America distribution network. This position sits at the intersection of planning and operations—ensuring inventory is positioned correctly, execution activities are delivered effectively, and outcomes align with service level, inventory health, and commercial objectives.
The role requires strong analytical thinking, cross-functional collaboration, and ownership of execution performance across a complex, multi-DC network.
Key Responsibilities
Deployment Planning Execution
- Execute seasonal deployment strategies across the NAM DC Network.
- Collaborate with cross-functional partners to gather input and align decisions.
- Translate deployment plans into actionable execution activities and timelines.
- Own STO forecast, execution, planning, and systemic clean up in SAP
Inventory Management & Network Optimization
- Monitor and manage inventory positioning across DCs to ensure alignment with deployment strategy
- Identify imbalances and drive corrective actions.
- Support optimal utilization of DC capacities and throughput.
Migrations (DC-to-DC Execution)
· Plan and execute DC-to-DC inventory migrations to support network needs
· Ensure migrations are delivered on-time and in-full (OTIF)
· Proactively communicate risks, trade-offs, and execution status to stakeholders
Audits, Compliance & Issue Resolution
- Execute deployment and operational audits.
- Track execution performance and identify risks.
- Escalate issues and support root cause resolution.
Reporting & Communication
- Develop and publish reporting on deployment execution related to inventory health
- Provide clear visibility to risks, actions, and performance to cross functional partners
- Enable transparency between planning and DC ops
- Own outputs and execution related to excess inventory netting processes
Projects & Continuous Improvement
- Support initiatives to improve deployment processes.
- Partner with IT/Tech to test system enhancements impacting deployment execution.
- Drive improvements in OTA / OTIF performance.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Strong understanding of supply chain operations within a DC Network

- Ability to manage execution in a fast-paced environment
- At adidas we offer a Hybrid work policy which requires attendance in the office Monday through Thursday, with the flexibility to work remotely on Friday each week. For work requiring a high degree of collaboration or an in-person presentation, in-office attendance is required even on Friday.
Technical Skills
- SAP advanced skills required
- Advanced level excel experience
- SQL, Power BI, and Alteryx strongly referred
Requisite Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 4–5+ years of experience in supply chain, deployment, or operations
- Experience working cross-functionally in a distribution/network environment
