Manager GBS Continuous Improvement

Purpose & Overall Relevance for the Organization

 

Continuous Improvement will drive process optimization across GBS Centers, across all global processes. This person will support the CI lead, Operations and Global Process Owners on the development of the strategy for Continuous Improvement and support on prioritization of initiatives based on impact on business value/customer experience and efficiency etc. It’s a meaningful position for Adidas 2025 strategy. 

 

Help to collaborate with CI Governance senior manager/Center CI lead on CI methodology/ framework build-up as well as implementation. This person will also play leadership on the center's continuous improvement team to collaborate with other GBS organizations on ESSA projects identification/coaching/replication etc. 

 

Key Responsibilities

 

• Collaborate with Adidas Global CI Hub to design/build up adidas own CI approach. 

• Support to create frameworks for all workstreams on CI methodology launching with an agile and efficient way of working. 

• Support workstreams and TOP AREAs to drive ESSA (Elimination/ Simplification/ Standardization/ Automation) opportunity identification. 

• Support to deliver operational efficiencies, process standardization and harmonization. 

• Provide support on LSS/process re-engineering projects to help successfully implement. 

• Drive mindset of continuous improvement as a culture of Adidas.

• Support to build up a continuous improvement training program, acting also as a trainer. 

• Leverage the TTT program to deliver continuous improvement training to the center. 

• Continuous Improvement of event design and promotion.

• Support best practice sharing cross centers/workstreams.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

 

• Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in the area of end-to-end process improvement and/or process standardization in Finance/HR/Procurement/ Supply Chain 

• Knowledge on Continuous Improvement and Lean methodologies 

• Experience supporting or coordinating automation-related initiatives, with a focus on aligning requirements between Operations and Automation teams

• Comprehensive understanding of E2E processes in Global Business Services 

• Experience with Lean and Continuous Improvement methodologies

• Ability to think strategically, synthesize complex situations and develop innovative solutions within a changing environment

• Experience in providing clear guidance and in instructions to operational teams and coaching 

• Complete familiarity with Microsoft Office or equivalent tools, specially advanced Excel and PowerPoint 

• Strong data analysis and RCA capability 

• Virtual team management skills 

• Fluent in English (written and spoken) 

 

Requisite Education and Experience / Minimum Qualifications

 

• University degree or equivalent experience, preferably in accounting or business administration 

• Six Sigma certification as plus
