Manager GBS Project Management
Purpose & Overall Relevance for the Organization
This role will play an essential role in driving the successful delivery of projects within the Global Business Services (GBS) organization.
As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for managing projects end-to-end, planning, coordinating, and executing projects/programs that optimize business processes, improve service delivery, implement new systems and support the Human Resources organization’s strategic goals.
Key Responsibilities:

Responsible for leading E2E projects, by planning, managing, and executing all key initiatives from initiation to closure, ensuring delivery on time, within scope, and budget (where applicable).

Ensure collaboration with cross-functional teams in GBS and/or others, to gather requirements, define project objectives, and develop detailed project plans.

Monitor project progress and performance, identifying and addressing risks, issues, and dependencies.

Coordinate with stakeholders to ensure alignment on project goals, expectations, and deliverables.

Manage changes to project scope, schedule, and costs.

Analyze the impact of change initiatives and develop preventive and corrective measures to ensure adoption

Facilitate project meetings, including kick-off sessions, status updates, and lessons learned reviews.

Ensure effective communication throughout the project lifecycle to all relevant stakeholders, according to the Project Services reporting process.

Maintain and ensure project documentation is up to date, as per our delivery standards, including status reports, risk logs, action plans, and project dashboards.

Contribute to the development and enhancement of project management methodologies and best practices within the GBS organization.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

Broad knowledge and experience in Project Management principles and methodologies (e.g.: Agile, Waterfall)

PMI certification would be a plus
-
Experience in change management, business process optimization or continuous improvement initiatives (knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma or VSM would be a plus).

Knowledge in the most common Change Management theories & practices

Project management capabilities with demonstrated success completing multiple cross-functional and cross-business projects.

Excellent presentation, written, and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate at various levels, including senior leadership.

Experience working closely with cross-functional teams and balancing competing workloads.

Self-motivated with the ability to not only work in a group/individual setting but able to drive action and independently with little to no direction.

Proficiency in, MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Microsoft Project), Jira and Smartsheet.
Requisite Education and Experience / Minimum Qualifications:

Broad and deep theoretical understanding of job function

University degree in Business Administration, Project Management, Information Technology, or a related field

5 plus years of experience in project management, preferably within a GBS, shared services, or related environment.
