Manager Supply Chain Projects (Temporary)

Purpose & Overall Relevance for the Organization:

 

An important role working closely with the Global Supply Chain Strategy & Transformation team. This role offers the chance to actively support the team in defining priorities, driving, and measuring key progress of our transformations and projects. You will collaborate with colleagues across the globe, be a key contact for stakeholders, and support organization-wide supply chain workstreams and their impact.

Key Responsibilities:

 

  • Own transformation and work streams deliverables (e.g., planning, milestones execution, monitoring, financials) in alignment with strategic direction.
  • Lead assessments and translate outcomes into insights to support timely implementation of the project within an agreed scope of work.
  • Manage effective and timely communication on project progress and results to sponsors and senior management (e.g., Steering Committees).
  • Support change and communication efforts, leveraging different communication channels and continuing to build our SCM community.
  • Effectively deploy a transformation/project management toolkit across work streams to ensure high quality and consistency of deliverables.
  • Champion the adoption of best practices in transformation and project management, next to contributing to the establishment of best-in-class standards.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

 

  • Business acumen and knowledge in project management of supply chain management is an asset.
  • Experience in Supply Chain Management is mandatory
  • Proven track record in areas of transformation, change management, and project management tools.
  • Strong interpersonal skills paired with being a good communicator/storyteller. You can read between the lines and listen/react to things that are not being said. Fluency in English and any other language is a benefit.
  • Ability to work with limited information, using scenario planning to build meaningful business cases.
  • A team builder and networker. You are used to different styles, preferences, and cultures and embrace an atmosphere of inclusion.
  • Creative and analytical, able to break down complexity, organize yourself, tasks, and people around you. Comfortable with shifting priorities and deadlines, and able to keep calm under pressure.
  • You proactively address challenges and contribute constructive solutions.  You value collaboration and collective success.

Requisite Education and Qualifications:

 

  • Minimum 3-5 years of relevant work experience in a Multinational Corporation (MNC) environment (e.g., consulting, apparel/fashion/retail, or supply chain management background).
  • Within which 1-2 years of relevant transformation/project management experience and project leadership in a global setting.
  • College or university degree, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
