Manager Tax
OVERALL RELEVANCE FOR THE ORGANIZATION
The Corporate Tax team manages the Group's tax risk profile and ensures compliance with global tax regulations. As Manager Tax, you will support the development and implementation of indirect tax governance, processes, and controls across the organization.
Working closely with Corporate Tax, Finance, GBS, and business stakeholders, you will help drive process excellence, support compliance, and ensure tax requirements are effectively embedded in business operations and decision-making.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Indirect Tax Governance & Standards
- Support the implementation and continuous improvement of global indirect tax strategies, policies, and standards.
- Maintain VAT/GST and withholding tax process documentation in collaboration with regional tax teams and GBS.
- Support governance frameworks to ensure consistent execution of tax requirements across markets.
Process Excellence & Digitalization
- Analyze and improve indirect tax processes to enhance efficiency, controls, and standardization.
- Support global initiatives related to tax reporting, compliance, reconciliations, and issue management.
- Contribute to e-Invoicing, e-Reporting, and technology-driven tax transformation projects.
Controls, Monitoring & Data Quality
- Support the design and monitoring of indirect tax controls and compliance processes.
- Perform data quality reviews and help track risks, issues, and remediation activities.
- Partner with Control & Analytics teams to improve visibility of compliance risks and process performance.
Business Partnering & Advisory
- Serve as a key contact for Global Functions, Business Units, GBS, and regional tax teams on tax process and governance topics.
- Advise stakeholders on indirect tax implications of operational processes and intercompany transactions.
- Support business initiatives by identifying tax impacts and promoting compliant, efficient solutions.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES
- Strong knowledge of indirect tax (VAT/GST) and understanding of international tax principles.
- Good understanding of finance processes, accounting operations, and ERP-driven business processes.
- Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to communicate complex topics clearly to a broad range of stakeholders.
- Experience working cross-functionally in an international environment.
- Interest in process improvement, tax technology, and automation.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
- Degree in Taxation, Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 3-5 years of experience in indirect tax, tax operations, tax compliance, process improvement, or Big Four advisory.
- Understanding of indirect tax legislation and operational tax processes.
- Experience in tax technology, controls, ERP projects, or process transformation is an advantage.
- Fluent written and spoken English.
