What is Next Gen ///:
A traineeship program designed to build the Next Generation of talent at adidas Porto.
Next Gen is our way of welcoming new professionals into adidas by fully embedding them into our business teams. From day one, you will be part of the team - learning about our reality, contributing to real work, and experiencing the day‑to‑day of how we operate.
This program offers an immersive onboarding experience aligned with adidas’ values, culture, and ways of working. You will learn by doing, supported by experienced team members, mentors, and managers who are invested in your development.
Over six months, you will have the opportunity to grow fast, learn deeply, and play to win, building both technical and personal skills in a safe and supportive environment.
We work with Courage, Ownership, and Innovation to win the game, and we do it with Teamplay, Integrity, and Respect while we play.
Our goal is to prepare you for the next step of your professional journey. You will join us as talent equipped with the tools, confidence, and experience to perform, and we hope to continue building your long‑term career at adidas as a Champion.
In this role you will be part of the Procurement team.
What we need from you:
- Curiosity and the ability to think outside the box
- Comfort with ambiguity - things are not always black and white, and you’ll need to look beyond the numbers
- Strong communication skills - at times, you may need to take the stage and share your ideas with confidence
- A proactive mindset and the ability to adapt and drive change
- Motivation to learn - bring your (metaphoric) pencil and be ready to absorb new knowledge
- Consumer‑centric thinking - everything we do is focused on our consumers, whether internal partners or the people wearing our three‑stripe shoes
- A university degree in Management, Economics, Business Administration, Finance or a related field
- First professional experience (including internships or academic projects)
- Fluency in English
- Tech‑savvy and comfortable working with Microsoft Office tools
- Additional language of German or Greek is a plus
