SCM - Operations Support

Position Overview:

 

We are building a Talent Pool of dynamic and motivated individuals to join our Global Business Services (GBS) team in Porto. The successful candidate will play a key role in contributing to the success of our organization by supporting various functions within the GBS Supply Chain department. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work in a collaborative environment and contribute to the achievement of departmental goals.

 

Responsibilities:

 

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support the achievement of departmental objectives
  • Assist in various projects and initiatives aimed at improving operational efficiency and effectiveness within the Supply Chain stream
  • Contribute to process optimization and standardization efforts
  • Support data analysis and reporting activities to provide insights for decision-making
  • Assist in identifying opportunities for innovation and continuous improvement within the Supply Chain department
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure achievement of Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and identify risks and opportunities leading to improved quality of delivered services
  • Provide operations support, including but not limited to coordinating operational activities, optimizing processes, and assisting with other operational tasks as required
  • Execute tasks and initiatives in alignment with business priorities, ensuring timely and effective delivery of results
  • Support system upgrades
  • Engage in day-to-day interactions with stakeholders to ensure effective communication and collaboration

 

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

 

  • Strong service-oriented mindset in Supply Chain context
  • Team player
  • Proficiency in analytical thinking and problem-solving to address complex challenges in supply chain operations
  • Understanding of cost considerations and their impact within the supply chain process
  • Autonomous and independent working style
  • Comfort with learning and utilizing internal systems and software applications specific to Supply Chain management
  • Intermediate knowledge of MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Basic level of familiarity with SAP-AFS
  • Fluency in English; proficiency in an additional language is advantageous in a Global Supply Chain environment

 

 

Requisite Education and Experience/Minimum Qualifications:

 

  • Successful completion of mandatory education level or vocational studies. Bachelor's degree is a plus
  • 2+ years of experience in Supply Chain management, operations or planning, preferably in the Accessories, Apparel or Footwear industries
