Specialist GBS Sourcing Operations
Purpose & Overall Relevance for the Organization
adidas Global Business Services (GBS) is the engine driving the transformation to ONE adidas. As the company’s operational backbone, GBS delivers standard global services, enhances user experience, and ensures consistent quality across the organization.This position is responsible for executing sourcing enablement activities that streamline procurement processes and strengthen supplier relationships. The role provides operational support on Ariba Sourcing, analyzes rebate agreements, maintains procurement systems (including NTPD), and creates data-driven content within adidas Purchasing tools to guide users toward efficient buying channels.
Key Responsibilities
- Set up, update, and maintain eCatalogues and eMarketplaces in Ariba across multiple regions;
- Configure Ariba content, including forms, category tiles, RFQs, and preferred supplier structures;
- Identify opportunities to increase catalog coverage and automate Purchase Orders;
- Generate and implement ideas for process improvement and efficiency;
- Perform problem analysis, propose solutions, and drive implementation;
- Collaborate with suppliers via Ariba Network to gather quotes, exchange information, and enhance sourcing competitiveness;
- Build proactive relationships with business partners and global functional teams;
- Manage all e-sourcing activities, including user access, supplier registration, training, issue resolution, and support for RFP/RFI and e-auctions;
- Review and validate sourcing requests to ensure accurate and complete project briefs;
- Analyze and track rebate agreements, verify compliance, and coordinate follow-up with suppliers.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

Requisite Education & Experience
- University degree in Business Administration, Finance, Procurement, or related fields.
- 1+ year of relevant experience in Procurement.
