Sr Specialist GBS Acct & Sales Ops - Trade Terms

Purpose & Overall Relevance for the Organization:

 

Support the business in achieving sales and market strategy objectives. Ensure a reliable, adequate, and competitive customer service level for all assigned customers of the channel.

 

As part of Account & Sales Operations Stream Trade Terms is a key element within adidas wholesale business. This team ensures that all discount conditions are maintained accurately in SAP and communicates data and process requirements when required.

The team assists in systems or process initiatives relating to discount conditions and performing ad hoc analysis.

 

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

  • Ensure accurate maintenance and updates of trade terms information in SAP;
  • Maintain information to On-Invoice and Off-invoice discounts;
  • Ensure accurate discounts on the orderbook;
  • Contribute to the resolution of queries related to missing or inaccurate discounts;
  • Continuously offer ideas and solutions on how to improve daily processes, tasks and procedures for increased efficiency or better service for all stakeholders;
  • Assist in systems or process initiatives relating to discount conditions, flow of information, or various ad hoc analyses that arise;
  • Assist in setting up new communication tools and process documentation;
  • Manage the relationships within accounts operations and sales teams as well as other stakeholders in the business;
  • Identify the improvement opportunities and support their implementation;
  • Support ongoing projects for the implementation of technology solutions;
  • Act as the first point of contact for the process related issues and escalations;
  • Acting as the backup for the Team Leader.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

 

  • Strong Finance Acumen;
  • Solid experience with SAP;
  • Solid experience with Excel;
  • Experience with Salesforce (ASSIST);
  • Experience in a Shared Service environment or similar;
  • Ability to read, write and communicate in English in a business setting;
  • Ability to pay close attention to detail and a high degree of customer orientation;
  • Solid interpersonal skills combined with a high degree of customer orientation; can navigate easily within complex organizations, connect with a variety of functions, audiences, management styles, or cultures;
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills;
  • Highly results-driven and self-motivated team player with compassion, integrity, trust, and perseverance;
  • Curious and growth mindset; keen to learn and approach subjects outside of comfort zone, look beyond the obvious;
  • High level of empathy and emotional intelligence;
  • Availability to travel for periods of 3 to 4 weeks.

 

 

Requisite Education and Experience / Minimum Qualifications:

 

  • Degree in Accounting, Business Management, Finance, Economics, or related areas;
  • High level of customer orientation and communication skills;
  • 5 plus years of relevant work experience in the accounting/business area;
  • Broad and deep theoretical understanding of job function.
