Sr Specialist GPS POM

Purpose & Overall Relevance for the Organization:

Optimize & execute integrated purchasing, global supply planning and PO management activities. Ensure performance achieves availability target OTIF (On Time In Full) and OTA (On Time Allocation) and respects market SLAs. Optimize usage of factory capacity in line with market requirements, supplier capabilities to service global demand.

Work across functions to solve planning and purchasing related issues, identify risks and opportunities and mitigate potential delays.

  

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support availability, risk mitigating actions via PO management.
  • Responsible for communication relevant Liaison Office (LO) to ensure optimized use of capacity, understand supply constraints, delivery performance development and ensure risk mitigation plans are in place
  • Process ownership; responsible for documentation, testing and enhancement of a specific business process. Support implementation of projects within area of responsibility and contribute to system & process improvements, aligning and prioritizing cross divisionally/cross brand where possible to enhance operational efficiency 
  • Daily activities in ticketing tools to ensure markets and factories support and Order Management actions are taken.
  • Ensure good relationships with key stakeholdersand the global functional Team 
  • Handle escalations by providing support in resolution of complaints and issues, as needed   
  • Identify and assess problems and provide potential solutions 
  • Ensure data quality and integrity across various systems and toolsand performquality check on the work output of the team    
  • Perform or ensure day-to-day and period end processing responsibilities are completed in accordance with internal standards

  • Fluent in English, additional language is a plus

 

Requisite Education and Experience / Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in supply chain management or in the areas of business administration, logistics, planning, information systems. Master's degree is a plus
  • 2-5 years of experience in supply chain management, operations or planning, preferably in the Accessories, Apparel or Footwear industries
