Supervisor Outbound & Consumables & MS (m/f/d), temp until 31.08.2026
Purpose & Overall Relevance for the Organization:
To be responsible for and lead an efficient and cost-effective department process. Lead daily DC operations in a specific area (CDC Outbound, Manual Store & CDC Consumables) to ensure that tasks are completed efficiently, accurately, and on schedule. This role has the disciplinary responsibility and leadership for the team.
Main areas of responsibility:
People Management
• Building skills to coach, mentor and develop individual team members
• Drive team and individual performance through the performance cycle and regular feedback
• Be engaging with the ability to motivate others and create a sense of value and belonging

• Promote a culture of continuous learning, where team members are encouraged to develop their skills and contribute to improvement projects.
Operational Management
• Responsible for shipping in time and full (palett and parcel)
• Participate in daily shift meetings to communicate goals, priorities, and current updates
• Monitor real-time performance metrics and adjust staffing or workflow as needed to meet daily productivity and service level targets.
• Actively participate in continuous improvement initiatives, working closely with the Area Manager to identify areas for improvement in efficiency, productivity, and cost-effectiveness.
• Lead by example in promoting a safety-first culture, proactively addressing potential hazards, and implementing corrective actions when necessary.
• Serve as the main point of contact for the Area Manager and other department leaders regarding operational updates, challenges, or improvement initiatives within your area.

Required education and experience/minimum qualifications:
• Leadership: Ability to lead and motivate a team, with a focus on developing others and maintaining a high-performance culture.
• Warehouse Management Systems: Experience in the use of business systems, such as SAP, WCS and Manhattan desirable
• Problem Solving: Proactive in identifying issues, analysing root causes, and implementing effective solutions.
• Collaboration: Ability to work effectively with peers and managers across different functions to achieve shared goals.
• Language: Fluent in local language, English (advanced)
• Can demonstrate experience in delivering to tight deadlines and managing customers’ expectations.
• Minimum of 5 years Logistics/Warehousing experience
• Minimum of 2 years management and leadership experience
