Specialist Omnichannel Execution - Area Visual Merchandiser - Jeddah
Omni District Execution Area: Department: Direct Reporting Line: Indirect reporting line to: Location: GSMS Grade: EMC RETAIL District Manager Specialist OMNI Ordering &Execution SAUDI ARABIA (JEDDAH) PR1 Key Responsibilities: • Drive the implementation of best practice visual merchandising and in-store communication standards to create a strong consumer journey, highlighting product features and brand stories to drive sell-through – ensuring consistency of execution across a portfolio of stores • Train, guide and motivate In-Store Visual Merchandisers (ISVM) to continuously deliver excellence in execution across the entire market in both a DTC and WHS environment • Cascading of brand guidelines and VM guidelines to ISVM and store teams to ensure executional excellence and understanding of principles to drive accountability at store level • Solid ability to guide and influence ISVM and store teams in the following areas; Overall consumer journeys and store layout, capacities and product density, color flow, mannequin styling, VM standards, ISC materials/sizes and specifications • Assist in measuring and reporting on retail productivity with recommendations to management for continuous improvement • Understanding of consumer profiles, retail KPIS and OTG strategy in order to guide decision making • Support the omni-channel team by providing field / store insights to guide the campaign planning process in order to cater for individual stores / market needs • Support omni-channel execution team by ensuring campaign readiness at store level (create plug & plays, collate installation permits, create campaign reporting documentation and liaise with suppliers to support OCM installations) • Proactively highlight opportunities to both retail ops and omni-channel teams to drive efficiency on process and implementation • Responsible for auditing and ordering VM tools for stores in collaboration with retail and omni team • Assist in gathering, consolidating, and delivering input on visual merchandising and campaign performance from the DTC Market which will be delivered to the Hub & Global • Report into the Omni Channel team and Retail Operations team to ensure a harmonious delivery of business priorities • Lead new store openings in collaboration with key stakeholders to ensure perfect retail execution aligned with store concept and brand guidelines and oversee the management of in-store VM team support • Drive overall brand success across key Trade Zones by auditing and reporting on all DTC and WHS touchpoints • Drive on the ground communication and training with WHS retailers in key Trade Zones • Provide VM training and instore support for WHS • Work with back office team on consumer journey with key WHS doors • Reporting from on the ground analysis of adidas executions and competitor activations Knowledge, Capabilities and Experience: • Ability to take a proactive approach to strategy implementation, consistently communicating across relevant stakeholders with the business and team to ensure alignment of priorities to meet both brand and retail objectives • Possess strong interpersonal and clear communication skills through which desired results are delivered in a fast-pace, highly competitive environment • Knowledge of, retail landscape, visual merchandising, retail marketing and presentation • Strong project and planning skills. Highly organized and demonstrates a ‘finisher, completer’ mentality • Knowledge and understanding of store KPIs to make commercial decisions whilst ensuring brand standards remain at the forefront of decision making • Ability to think conceptually, in strategic terms and diagnose and translate sales/ category reporting to an in-store merchandising strategy • Knowledge of customer service principles and processes • Ability to learn and adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment • Demonstrates an inspirational attitude that contributes to a positive team environment • Ability to build and maintain effective working relationships with team members and business partners • Well-developed ability to speak, read, comprehend, and write English • Skilled in PowerPoint and Excel Qualifications: • Minimum 2-5 years’ experience working in a sports/fashion customer & commercial focused retail environment, or equivalent combination of education and experience • Ability to effectively communicate with customers and store personnel • Ability to work a flexible schedule to meet the needs of the business, including evening, overnight and weekend shift • Ability to manage a portfolio of stores across • Must hold a valid driver's license
