Digital Director
Purpose & Overall Relevance for the Organization:
Lead and consolidate the Digital business for Argentina, integrating the owned eCommerce and Digital Partner Commerce (DPC / Partner Program) into a single end-to-end digital channel strategy. Ensure consistent brand representation, consumer experience and commercial growth across owned digital and marketplace/partner digital touchpoints, driving unified ranging, merchandising and go-to-market decisions across both fronts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Own the end-to-end digital channel strategy for Argentina, integrating owned eCommerce and Partner Program (marketplaces, e.g. Mercado Libre) under one commercial and brand vision.
- Own the site range, merchandising and channel strategy for owned .com.
- Own the Partner Program business across marketplace partners: account strategy, ranging, merchandising planning and financial forecasting.
- Define a unified digital ranging and assortment strategy to avoid channel conflict and maximize brand presentation across owned and partner digital.
- Drive business planning and financial forecasting for the consolidated digital business (owned + partner), aligned with total DTC/Wholesale digital targets.
- Act as single point of contact between Market structure and the LAM cluster, scaling best practices across both eComm and Partner Program.
- Develop and lead a high-performing team across both disciplines (eComm and DPC), building talent and succession pipeline.
- Represent Argentina digital in key internal and external forums (sell-ins, account meetings, leadership reviews, conferences).
- Own relationships with key external digital partners at senior level (marketplaces, Google, agencies).
- Drive digital business cases with the analytics team to act on growth opportunities across both channels.

Knowledge Skills and Abilities:
- Strong digital commerce expertise: digital shelf optimization, conversion, CTR, traffic and other key digital metrics, and the ability to translate them into commercial action.
- Proven people leadership: able to lead, develop and align multiple teams and under a single vision, building talent and succession pipeline.
- Strong commercial and financial acumen: forecasting, P&L ownership, business planning and business case development for a consolidated digital business.
- Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills across Market and Region levels, and within a matrix organization.
- Ability to manage channel conflict and drive an integrated go-to-market approach across owned and partner digital.
- Experience owning and negotiating senior-level relationships with external digital partners (marketplaces, Google, agencies).
- Data-driven decision making, with the ability to work with analytics teams to identify and act on growth opportunities.
- Growth and digital mindset, consumer and customer obsessed, with a continuous improvement approach.
- Fluent in English and Spanish.
Requisite Education and Experience / Minimum Qualifications:
- 10+ years of relevant experience in digital / eCommerce and/or marketplace partner businesses, ideally within retail, consumer goods or a comparable industry.
- University degree in Business, Marketing, Economics or related field; postgraduate qualification is a plus.
- Proven track record of delivering against measurable digital sales and commercial targets.
- Demonstrated experience owning eCommerce channel strategy (owned .com) and/or Partner Program / marketplace management.
- 5+ years of people management experience, including leading managers and cross-functional teams.
- Experience operating in a matrix, multi-market environment; exposure to global/regional structures is a plus.
