Manager Order Fulfillment

Purpose:

The Order Fulfillment Manager is responsible for guaranteeing accurate commercial visibility of what the company can invoice within the next 12 weeks across all channels — both those with Sales Orders and those operating through forecast.

The role connects commercial priorities with operational execution, ensuring aligned confirmation plans, transparent communication, and proactive risk mitigation.

 

This position acts as a strategic partner to the business, maximizing revenue opportunities, stabilizing the confirmation process, and strengthening trust in the information flow from Supply Chain.

 

Key Responsibilities Functional:

 

  • Business Focus
  • Lead the confirmation strategy for all channels, ensuring visibility of what will be fulfilled in the next 12 weeks and alignment with the monthly revenue plan.
  • Convert forecast and commercial signals into executable confirmation scenarios, identifying risks and proposing alternative fulfillment paths.
  • Monitor Sales Orders not reaching 100% availability and coordinate actions with Commercial, Marketing, and Availability teams.
  • Notify channels proactively of deviations impacting the confirmation plan, offering solutions to protect or maximize revenue.
  • Ensure consistency between SAP Order Book, regional reports, and local commercial expectations.
  • Define and refine KPIs to evaluate confirmation quality, performance, and commercial impact.
  • Prepare executive reports for FLM and Senior Leadership, summarizing fulfillment risks, opportunities, and strategic recommendations.

 

  • Operational / Cross-functional Focus:
  • Collaborate with Customer Service to ensure alignment between confirmation plans and actual invoicing execution.
  • Work closely with Availability to set inbound priorities according to commercial needs and campaign commitments.
  • Align with Inventory Management to optimize stock usage between channels, reducing aging and supporting the commercial calendar.
  • Coordinate with Marketing Operations to ensure article activation for campaigns once they reach full confirmation.
  • Engage with Regional OF to ensure correct SAP visibility, request tool enhancements, and align on best practices and governance models.
  • Support Demand Planning in validating demand signals through a structured Demand Reality Check, ensuring accuracy of presales and forecast.
  • Identify high-impact commercial risks early and lead cross-functional discussions toward mitigation.

  • Qualifications:

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in Supply Chain, focused on inventory and/or DC management.
  • Advanced knowledge of SAP and warehouse management systems (WMS).
  • Proficiency with analytical tools (advanced Excel, Power BI, Tableau, or similar).
  • Strong communication skills to interact with Commercial, Finance, and global stakeholders.
  • Intermediate-advanced English for regional interaction.
