Business Planner
Purpose & Overall Relevance for the Organization
Maximize KPIs performance of our Strategic & Key Accounts through:
- An optimum Sell In planning based on historical Sell Out data
- A perfect Product Distribution per store
- Generate relevant insights to take in -season decisions
Key Responsibilities
- Own Sell-In and Sell-Out data maintenance, ensuring accurate integration between adidas and partners through Power BI and Excel databases.
- Provide the Strategic & Key Account Management teams with reliable Sell Out and Market Data to support fact-based business decisions.
- Ensure accurate pre-sales planning and product distribution, delivering the right assortment per point of sale to maximize Sell-Out performance.
- Plan and execute the necessary projects to achieve the objectives of adidas’ strategy in our key accounts.
- In close collaboration with Key Account Management and Trade Marketing, ensure optimal stock, sell-out performance, and availability across main points of sale.
- Track and analyze performance vs. targets for accounts within scope.
- Measure and manage performance against defined internal KPIs, including:
- Sell-Out
- Sell-In
- Market Share
- Monitor, analyze, and report on customer KPIs, including:
- Sell-Out per sqm
- Stock levels
- Months of Stock
- Stock Turnover
- End Margin
- ROI
Key Relationships
- Key Account Managers, Customer Service and the entire Wholesale team.
- Marketing teams as Account Marketing and Visual Merchandising.
- Supply Chain teams as Order Fulfillment.
Requisite Education, Experience & Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in Commercial, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
- 2–5 years of professional experience in a similar role such as Sales Planning, Business Planning, Demand Planning, Key Account Management or related functions.
- Experience in the Retail or Consumer Goods industry is highly preferred.
- Strong communication and relationship‑building skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with key internal stakeholders including Marketing, Supply Chain , and Key Account teams.
- Advanced analytical and numerical skills, including KPI management, enabling the delivery of periodic performance reports and the formulation of actionable sales strategies.
- Advanced Excel proficiency is required. Power BI proficiency is a plus.
- Demonstrated problem‑solving mindset, with the ability to act decisively, propose solutions, and make proactive recommendations.
- Clear career motivation toward future sales‑related roles or commercial growth pathways.
- Intermediate English is required; fluency is considered a strong plus.
