Director Fulfillment Center
DIRECTOR DISTRIBUTION CENTER
Location: Lo Boza, Pudahuel, Chile | Supply Chain Management
The Opportunity
We are looking for a senior, highly transversal leader to take on one of the most critical roles in our supply chain network: leading the Distribution Center through a major transformation journey.
This is not a “business-as-usual” role. This is a high-impact leadership position at the intersection of strategy, operations, and future marketplace transformation, where success depends on the ability to connect long-term vision with day-to-day execution realities.
You will shape the future of our Distribution Center — redefining how we operate, scale, and serve our customers in a context of rapid change, operational complexity, and the growing demands of e-commerce and omnichannel distribution.
Current Context & Challenge
- Our Distribution Center is at a turning point:
- Capacity is stretched due to business growth
- Expansion is underway, meaning operations must run in parallel with construction activities
- The operation is under constant pressure to deliver, while evolving
- Automation initiatives and system upgrades are part of the roadmap
This role requires a leader who can stabilize, optimize, and transform at the same time.
Your Mission
As Director, you will own the end-to-end performance of the Distribution Center, balancing:
- Strategic transformation (future-ready DC, automation, omnichannel capabilities)
- Operational excellence (service, cost, productivity, safety)
- Marketplace readiness (speed, flexibility, peak resilience, customer-centric fulfillment)
- People leadership at all levels (from frontline operators to leadership teams)
You will act as a bridge between strategy and execution, ensuring transformation happens without losing operational control.
What Success Looks like for this Role
This role demands a rare, truly transversal profile:
- A strategic thinker who can define direction and anticipate the impact of digital commerce evolution on operations
- A hands-on leader comfortable on the warehouse floor, connecting with blue-collar teams and operational realities
- A credible operational expert with deep understanding of logistics constraints, workforce dynamics, and execution challenges
- A change leader who can mobilize teams through transformation, uncertainty, and increasing complexity
- A leader who can bridge traditional supply chain models with fast-evolving omnichannel and e-commerce requirements
Success comes from the ability to navigate complexity, influence across functions, and lead with credibility from the boardroom to the shop floor.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and transform end-to-end DC operations (inbound, outbound, returns, inventory, maintenance)
- Define and execute the strategic roadmap for capacity, automation, and omnichannel readiness
- Drive operational performance (service levels, cost control, productivity, inventory accuracy)
- Ensure the DC is equipped to support growing e-commerce and digital sales demands, including peak periods and service expectations
- Lead major initiatives including facility expansion and systems implementation
- Partner cross-functionally with SCM, Commercial, Finance, HR, and external stakeholders
- Build and sustain a high-performance, engaged workforce across all levels
- Ensure safe, compliant, and resilient operations in a dynamic environment
What You Bring
- Academic background in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field; a master’s degree (e.g., MBA) is highly valued
- Proven experience leading large-scale distribution, logistics, or omnichannel operations
- Strong track record in transforming operations under pressure or complexity
- Strong data-driven mindset, with the ability to leverage analytics, KPIs, and insights to drive decision-making, performance improvements, and operational excellence
- Experience managing or adapting operations to B2B, B2C, e-commerce, omnichannel environments
- Ability to operate both strategically and operationally, with credibility on the ground
- Experience with automation, expansion, or major transformation programs
- Strong leadership capability, especially with frontline and operational teams
- High resilience and ability to lead through ambiguity and constant evolution
- Fluency in English and Spanish, with the ability to operate effectively in a global and cross-functional environment
