KAM Mercado Libre 3P (STA - June 2027)
Purpose & Overall Relevance for the Organization
As Mercado Libre 3P Key Account Manager, you will be responsible for driving the profitable and sustainable growth of the adidas 3P business on Mercado Libre. This role leads assortment and growth strategies, and ensures operational and commercial excellence across the channel to achieve sales, profitability, and market share objectives.
The KAM works cross-functionally with internal and external stakeholders to maximize marketplace performance, enhance the consumer experience, and unlock new growth opportunities within the Partner Program ecosystem.
Key Responsibilities
Commercial & P&L Management
- Own Net Sales, Sell Out, margin, and profitability targets for the Mercado Libre 3P business.
- Lead forecasting, Integrated Business Planning (IBP), and weekly, monthly, and seasonal performance reviews.
- Identify risks and opportunities and develop corrective action plans to ensure business objectives are met.
- Manage the channel P&L, ensuring sustainable and profitable growth.
Partner Program & Marketplace Management
- Lead the end-to-end Marketplace operation for Mercado Libre 3P.
- Monitor key commercial and digital KPIs, including Sell Out, Conversion, Traffic, Visibility, and Margin.
- Coordinate the execution of promotions, commercial campaigns, and key marketplace events such as Cyber, Black Friday, and Holiday campaigns.
- Ensure optimal catalog publication, product availability, and price competitiveness across the marketplace.
Marketplace Excellence
- Drive excellence in content quality, visibility, conversion, and consumer experience.
- Lead retail media initiatives, commercial activations, and content enhancement projects.
- Monitor competitor activity, marketplace trends, and emerging opportunities.
- Develop initiatives that improve the consumer journey and strengthen brand positioning within the marketplace.
Cross-Functional Relationship
- Coordinate Planning, Operations, Marketing, Finance, Customer Service, and Digital teams to ensure flawless execution.
- Manage the end-to-end execution of product launches, commercial campaigns, and strategic projects.
- Partner with local and regional teams to mitigate operational risks and capture growth opportunities.

Requisite Experience, Knowledge, Skills & Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Marketing, Digital Marketing or a related field.
- Postgraduate studies (MBA, eCommerce, Digital or CRM) are a strong plus.
- 4+ years of experience in eCommerce, Marketplaces and Digital Commerce roles.
- Strong understanding of marketplace ecosystems and digital business models.
- Strong commercial and analytical mindset, with forecasting and business planning capabilities.
- Ability to translate data into actionable insights.
- Strong sense of ownership and execution focus.
- Ability to influence cross-functional teams without direct authority.
- Advanced Excel, PowerPoint, and BI skills.
- Full professional proficiency in English and Spanish.
