Manager Transportation Control & Billing
Purpose & Overall Relevance for the Organization
As Transportation Control & Billing Manager you will play a critical role in owning and optimizing transportation spend and financial performance across a complex, omnichannel supply chain network. This role sits at the intersection of transportation, finance, and data analytics. You will turn large volumes of operational and financial data into clear insights, support strategic decision-making, and ensure accurate budget execution and billing processes at scale. Key Responsibilities
Transportation Budget & Billing Ownership
- Own and control transportation budget execution, ensuring accuracy and compliance
- Lead invoicing processes for omnichannel transportation flows (large-scale, high-volume environment)
- Ensure robust billing controls, resolve system and process issues, and manage freight payment reconciliations
Data, Reporting & Insights
- Own the transportation data landscape and act as the main point of contact for spend and performance analytics
- Develop, maintain, and improve regional transportation dashboards, scorecards, and management decks
- Drive data-driven decision-making across the transportation network, identifying cost, service, and efficiency improvement opportunities
- Deliver financial performance reporting and monthly net sales recognition insights
- Provide ad-hoc and deep-dive analyses to support agile and strategic decision-making
Process Improvement & Business Support
- Support ongoing and future projects by building robust business cases backed by data
- Build and automate reports (Excel, data warehouse, web-based tools) to improve scalability and reliability
- Partner with technical and digital teams to enhance transportation reporting and data quality
- Promote data literacy and best practices across supply chain and transportation teams
Customer & Service Focus
- Own and monitor key transportation KPIs (POD, lead times, cost, routing choices)
- Continuously evolve metrics with a strong customer-centric mindset to improve delivery experience
Key Relationships
- Transportation and Supply Chain teams (your main internal customers)
- Performance Management, Finance, and Market teams
- Global Operations teams (Transportation, Procurement, Digital, Strategy, IT)
- External partners including carriers, solution providers, and consultants
Requisite Experience, Knowledge, Skills & Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Transportation, Logistics, Engineering, Business Administration, or similar
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in transportation, supply chain, or advanced analytics environments (consulting experience is a plus)
- Solid understanding of complex transportation and supply chain networks
- Experience in e‑commerce and/or warehouse environments is an advantage
- Strong data analytics and financial acumen
- Experience with SAP FICO (intermediate to advanced preferred)
- Advanced Excel skills and experience working with databases and reporting tools (e.g. Power BI, SQL, Business Objects, MicroStrategy, Tableau, VBA)
- Experience with Transportation Management or Optimization systems is a plus
- Strong ownership mindset with the ability to work autonomously
- Structured, analytical thinker with a problem-solving approach
- Comfortable influencing and communicating across seniority levels and functions
- Full professional proficiency in English and Spanish
- Please note that this role is not fully office-based and requires periodic on-site work at our Distribution Center in Pudahuel - Lo Boza
