Senior Analyst Sports Marketing - Multisports

Athletes play a fundamental role in the brand strategy. As adidas it is our objective to secure the best athletes’ portfolio possible that can represent and communicate our products to the consumer. As a Sr. Specialist Sport Marketing - Multisports (Football excluded) your responsibility is to identify the countries´ talents at the earliest age possible and to manage the brands athletes’ portfolio.

 

 Key Responsibilities

  • Identification, planning and flawless execution of the scouting attack plan according to defined SPOMA (Sport Marketing) Athletes Scouting KPI´s. 
  • To become a key contact in the world of professionals and young athletes by providing excellence of service and product supply.
  • Negotiation, contracting and execution of athletes’ contracts, according to and fully compliant with internal sports marketing and legal/financial guidelines.
  • Day-to-day management of all scouting relations of our portfolio. Execute contract rights properly to strengthen our connections and build more reliable relations - Securing high level and fast assets service.
  • Develop powerful relationships with agents, and all other important stakeholders in the world of scouting and sports, to increase the probability to recognize, scout and sign the best talents of the country of each age category.
  • To attend national and international Youth events and use them as a platform for scouting (identify, contact, network and sign).
  • Excellence in the execution of budgeting, financial, legal and compliance, and any other type of internal responsibility. Proactive and open communication with SPOMA scouting and athletes’ management counterparts in other countries, regional and global offices. Apply a one team philosophy.

  • Agents, clubs and federations 

 

 Requisite Education and Experience & Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent required in related field.
  • 3 years’ experience in Marketing, Brand Communications or similar. 
  • Previous experience in Sports Management, Athletes Management, Sports Industry or similar. 
  • Demonstrated Sports Market and Industry awareness, deep knowledge in sports and related tournaments, club, events. 
  • Additional knowledge in Commercial negotiation, Marketing budget, legal contracts will be highly appreciated. 
  • Passionate about Sports: the Industry, the Athletes, local & global trends in sports as Training, Running, Rugby, Hocket. Tennis & Padel, etc. 
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication abilities, spanning from Executive Management to Operations Teams. 
  • Comprehension of the challenges encountered by athletes, including financial constraints, media, relocation, and language barriers. Provide a compassionate and high quality service to help adidas in designing initiatives that support athletes in overcoming these obstacles.
  • Unwavering commitment to maintaining absolute confidentiality in all business matters.
  • Fluency in both Spanish and English. Be able to work in an English-speaking environment in a daily basis.
  • We are seeking a flexible professional who understands that sports and brand events don’t always happen during office hours. This role requires adaptability to adjust schedules for key events and initiatives, including occasional weekends or off-hours.
