Sr. Manager CTC Football

PURPOSE

As Sr. Manager CTC Football, you will lead the connection between Global Football Brand Strategy and Local Marketplace Execution, ensuring that global priorities, seasonal concepts, product franchises, and key football moments are translated into locally relevant and commercially impactful consumer experiences.

You will be responsible for defining and driving the seasonal CTC strategy for Football, connecting consumer insights, product direction, brand storytelling, and channel needs. Working closely with Brand Activation, Sports Marketing, Merchandising, Sales, Key Accounts, and DTC teams, you will ensure consistent execution across all consumer touchpoints while supporting brand relevance and sustainable commercial growth.

This role requires strong strategic leadership, deep knowledge of football culture and consumers, and the ability to influence senior stakeholders across local, regional, and global teams.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Lead the seasonal CTC planning process for the Football category, ensuring alignment between Global, Market, and Channel priorities. Manage football clubs range development with sports marketing team

• Translate global Football strategies, seasonal concepts, product franchises, and key sporting moments into locally relevant marketplace plans.

• Define the local category direction based on consumer insights, football culture, market trends, commercial priorities, and competitive dynamics.

• Partner with Merchandising and Range Architecture teams to develop consumer-focused and channel-appropriate product assortments.

• Collaborate with Brand Activation and Sports Marketing teams to define compelling storytelling opportunities around products, athletes, clubs, federations, competitions, and relevant football moments.

• Align with Sales and Key Account teams to ensure strong sell-in preparation, customer engagement, and marketplace execution.

• Partner with DTC teams to deliver consistent and premium consumer experiences across Retail and eCommerce.

• Influence local, regional, and global stakeholders, representing the needs and opportunities of the Brazilian Football market.

• Drive cross-functional planning and decision-making, ensuring clarity of priorities, timelines, responsibilities, and expected business outcomes.

• Monitor category, product, and campaign performance, using data and consumer insights to identify opportunities and optimize future strategies.

• Lead post-season reviews and provide strategic recommendations to improve product performance, brand relevance, and commercial results.

• Ensure consistent and premium brand execution across all physical and digital consumer touchpoints.

• Provide strategic guidance and category expertise to cross-functional teams, supporting the development of Football capabilities across the organization.

REQUISITE EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE / MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

• University degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Sports Management, or a related field.

• 7+ years of experience in product marketing, category management, brand management, merchandising, CTC, or related functions.

• Previous experience in the sports, football, sporting goods, fashion, or consumer goods industry is strongly preferred.

• Demonstrated experience leading strategic projects and working with local, regional, and global stakeholders.

• Experience managing or developing teams is preferred.

• Strong knowledge of the Brazilian football and sporting goods market is highly desirable.

• Fluency in English, both written and spoken.
