Senior Manager Clearance Sales, Asia Pacific

Purpose & Overall Relevance for the Organization:

 

  • Drive the development and consistent execution of APAC clearance sales strategy, focusing on the Approved Clearance Accounts (ACA)
  • Build and maintain sustainable long-term profitability plans of both brands (adidas and Reebok) working strategically with each ACA

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

  • Manage total APAC clearance sales
  • Be the single point of contact in APAC for Clearance topics
  • Creates and executes stock offers (within the defined KPI's) to all ACA’s (approved clearance accounts) this includes:
    • Strategic evaluation of the clearance offer and current article market value
    • Negotiating the best possible price while protecting the brands
  • Monitors, reports and analyze the stock levels in all warehouses
  • Investigation, reporting and aligning APAC actions
  • Independently drives to improve and to optimize the processes, documents these and presents these
  • Implements clearance business strategies and procedures and presents these
  • Manage and maintain relationship with approved clearance accounts
  • Monitors the sales KPI's and takes appropriate action

 

 

 

Authorities:

 

Full responsibility of all price negotiations to approved clearance accounts (within the agreed and documented APAC authorisation / approval matrix)

External: Approved Clearance Accounts (ACA)

 

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:  

 

Business: > 8 years

Functional: >5 years’ experience, ideally sales or operations

Industry: Apparel/fashion/footwear or FMCG

Leadership: 2 to 3 years management experience required

Exposure: Sports

Skills/ Knowledge: Advanced negotiation strategies and very good product knowledge

Requisite Education and Experience / Minimum Qualifications:
