Senior Key Account Manager

Purpose & Overall Relevance for the Organisation:

 

Manage a group of customers to achieve designated sale target levels. Develop profitable business with new and existing customers

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

  • to represent the assigned account (s) internally as an ambassador towards all functions and vice versa and manage all interfaces
  • to understand the assigned accounts and categories and documentation by Account Fact Books
  • to develop and propose the account strategies, formalized them by Strategic Account Plans and get sign off by the direct superior, according to the customer portfolio mapping
  • to support and drive the formalization of Account Marketing Plan and to guarantee the implementation with marketing
  • to drive sell-in with KAR and ensure implementation of Strategic Account Plan
  • to monitor sell-out and the order book continuously and ensure reliable and cost efficient supply for the account
  • To support negotiation and enforcement of adidas Group trade terms
  • To set personal objectives, targets, guidelines and assess all reports
  • To develop the functional and social skills of direct reports on and off the job
  • To manage all reports as an integrated team by setting team objectives, targets and guidelines
  • To ensure smooth cooperation of all direct reports along all interfaces
  • To measure progress on own KPIs
  • To monitor all reports and report on customers and competitors activities and propose/initiate/take actions  
  • To provide realistic plans and forecasts on customer performance
  • To ensure customer compliance with agreements
  • To manage and participate actively at cross-functional team at European level  for Cross-boarders customer

 

 

Requisite Education and Experience / Minimum Qualifications/skills

 

  • University Degree in business with marketing and sales focus
  • Functional: > 5 years sales, partly as KAM or in the Field
  • Industry: ideally in apparel/fashion/shoes/FMCG
  • Leadership: > 1 years of experience
  • Exposure: sports, marketing, account marketing
  • Fluent English and local language
  • IT (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
