Senior Specialist, FO Trading, Retail
Purpose & Overall Relevance for the Organization:
Achieve our financial objectives through the strategic trading of products across our retail stores and ensure seamless execution at the store level. Optimize inventory management and maximize key financial targets (i.e. net sales, profitability, sell-through and inventory) by leveraging a deep understanding of the complete merchandising process (planning, buying, and trading).
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Product Trading: Develop and execute effective and accurate product trading strategies across our stores to achieve financial targets, including net sales, discount rates, margin, sell-through, and inventory efficiency.
- Optimize Inventory & Sell-Through: Proactively manage inventory levels, track demand and coverage, and adjust assortments/deliveries to maximize sell-through and minimize liquidation.
- Manage Product Lifecycle & Pricing: Implement lifecycle strategies, including smart pricing and markdowns, to optimize profitability.
- Analyze Performance, Generate Insights, and Report: Regularly review product-level and store-level performance data, identify key trends and insights, develop and present comprehensive reports on trading performance, and recommend actionable strategies for continuous improvement.
- Collaborate & Communicate: Partner with planning, buying, VM and store teams, maintaining close communication with store and key stakeholders for efficient trading.
- Support Business Growth & Efficiency: Identify opportunities and risks, support marketing activities, and contribute to process improvements in trading.
- Process Improvement: Identify and implement improvements to trading processes and tools to enhance efficiency and accuracy.

Knowledge Skills and Abilities:
- Good business acumen and analysis skills
- Interpersonal and communication skills (for both internal and external)
- Advanced skills in MS Office
- Ability to work effectively and efficiently as a team under pressure
- Result oriented. Prioritizing and completing tasks in order of importance
- High execution ability and self-management
- Fluent in English
- Strong sense of sport & fashion trends
Requisite Education and Experience / Minimum Qualifications:
- University degree or adequate education
- Minimum 3 years of work experience in retail merchandising, buying, product or retail sales related field.
