Sr Specialist, Buying & Trading, eCom(1Year 6months)
Purpose & Overall Relevance for the Organization:
Create the optimal country level product planning, buying&trading plan by own.com and emarket place for the designated category by working closely with the internal/external team to drive sales performance and deploy key brand concepts in the emarket place.
Key Responsibilities:
- Responsible for managing product master data and analysis historical order/Sell through/Inventory month/week on hand to support buying strategy for adidas sports&golf brand for eCom touchpoints (own .Com/eMarketplaces) to deliver financial target
- Drive trading process 2.0 next level of eCommerce trading excellence by eCom own operation and performance driven
- Monitor inventory levels and optimize DC capacity through article performance diagnosis and forecast and action driven improvements
- Drive value consumer opportunity across e-com touchpoints and platforms by optimizing on-line FO & commercial moments through operational excellence
- Lead stock replenishment process for responsiveness ranges by interacting with demand planning team based on eCom performance
- Support eCom buyers and provide strategic actions & recommendations based on analysis and trending for current & future buys regarding volume & distribution to maximize sales and profitability
- Support the enhancement of all product planning systems and tools to suit world class buying practice across global markets
- Monitor, analyse, and report the sell-thru / inventory (including old season) to eCom Buying leadership and team by weekly, monthly and quarterly including online FO & commercial events
- Communicate with SCM fulfillment, eCom agency and related stakeholders to monitor and manage weekly stock and size replenishment process/progress
- Flag and propose “plan B” if the sell-thru is underperforming or outperforming to manage eCom inventory rate

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Advanced user of MS Office suite of products
- Attention to detail as error in analysis will have crucial impact to business
- Fluent in English and Korean
- Advanced knowledge of Korea eCommerce landscape
- Strong analytical skills
- Structured, organized and process orientated
- Ability to work effectively within a team environment and under pressure
Requisite Education and Experience / Minimum Qualifications:
- University degree in business, ideally with the area of economics, marketing or sales focus or equivalent are preferred.
- Merchandising & Trading experience: Minimum 3 years
- E-commerce experience is preferred.
