Sr. Manager, Digital Strategy&Program Delivery, eCom
Purpose & Overall Relevance for the Organization:
The goal of the e-commerce (e-com) team is to deliver one connected digital ecosystem to create a premium and seamless consumer experience across all own ecosystem touch-points (e.g. adidas.com, Flagship APP, Confirmed APP, Running APP) and 3rd party platforms (e.g. Naver, Musinsa, Kakao, SSF etc.).The Senior Manager, Digital Strategy & Program Delivery is a pivotal role, serving as the strategic architect for our digital consumer interactions and a primary driver of e-commerce growth. This individual is responsible for defining the digital ecosystem strategy, managing the platform roadmap, and leading the execution of critical initiatives that enhance our digital capabilities and consumer experience. By working closely with global digital teams and local cross-functional partners, this role ensures Market Korea remains at the forefront of digital innovation and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
1) Digital Ecosystem Strategy & Roadmap Development
Develop and own the mid-to-long-term Digital Ecosystem Strategy for Korea, aligning with global digital directives & local market consumer insightsConduct comprehensive competitive and landscape analysis to identify market trends, emerging technologies, and new digital business models to drive innovation and maintain a competitive edge.Define and articulate the vision for a connected consumer journey, identifying key integration points between owned and third-party marketplaces.Build & maintain a multi-year Digital Capabilities Roadmap, prioritizing initiatives that maximize consumer engagement, conversion, & lifetime value.Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and a measurement framework to track the effectiveness of the digital strategy and report on ROI to senior leadership.Act as the primary local liaison for global digital teams, ensuring local market needs are represented and global strategies are effectively localized.
2) Digital Program & Growth Project Management
End-to-End Project Leadership: Serve as the primary project lead for the end-to-end delivery of all strategic Korea e-com projects, from initial ideation and business case development through to execution, go-live, and post-launch optimization.Strategic Portfolio Management: Collaboratively steer, coordinate, and prioritize the portfolio of e-commerce projects, balancing global requirements with local growth opportunities to maximize impact and resource efficiency.Stakeholder & Vendor Management: Act as the single Point of Contact (POC) for internal enablers, integrators, and external vendors. Facilitate clear communication and alignment between Global, APAC, and local Korean stakeholders to ensure project success.Execution Excellence: Develop and maintain realistic project schedules, manage dependencies, and proactively mitigate risks to ensure On-Time-In-Full (OTIF) delivery of all projects. Drive critical go-live activities, including contract reviews, business process alignment, and issue escalation/resolution.Business Case & Scope Definition: Support the development of robust business cases for new initiatives, clearly defining project scope, required resources, budget, and success metrics.
3) Change Management & Process Evolution
Lead change management efforts for the Korea e-com and cross-functional teams following major project implementations, ensuring smooth adoption and operationalization of new tools and processes.Proactively assess existing business processes and workflows; identify and drive necessary changes to better meet the evolving needs of consumers, the brand, and the e-commerce function.Champion a culture of continuous improvement, leveraging new technologies and data insights to evolve the consumer experience and internal ways of working.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:Strategic & Analytical Acumen:
- Proven ability to develop long-term digital strategies, conduct competitive analysis, and leverage data to drive decision-making, ROI, and business growth.
- Expert Project & Program Management: Mastery in end-to-end project delivery, portfolio prioritization, and risk mitigation, with a track record of delivering complex initiatives on time and in full.
- Superior Stakeholder Influence: Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to align and influence senior leadership, global teams, and cross-functional partners.
- Financial & Business Literacy: Strong financial understanding with experience in budgeting, business case development, and managing e-commerce P&L levers (sales, margin, inventory).
- Technical & Digital Fluency: Deep understanding of multi-platform e-commerce ecosystems, digital technologies, and integration points between owned and third-party platforms.
- Leadership & Change Management: A proactive, implementation-driven leader who can champion change, drive process evolution, and foster a culture of continuous improvement.
Requisite Education and Experience / Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, IT, or a related field.
- 7+ years of progressive experience in a combination of digital strategy, e-commerce program management, and strategic planning.
- Proven track record leading large-scale, cross-functional digital/e-commerce projects in an international environment.
- Extensive experience within the e-commerce or digital marketplace landscape is required.
- Experience in the Sporting Goods, Apparel, or Consumer Lifestyle industry is a strong advantage.
- Fluency in English is mandatory
