Assistant Manager, Product Supply Interface
Purpose & Overall Relevance for the Organization:
The Product Supply Interface (PSI) team plays a critical role in SCM Greater China to ensure products are delivered to warehouse on time and in full, providing strong operational support for the company’s business growth. This role is a key part of the PSI function ensures on‑time and in‑full delivery of the BU’s products to the warehouse.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor and address supplier‑ and demand‑driven performance issues for responsible BU. Timely issue resolution; reduction in supply delays and ensure meet request delivery KPI-On time availability.
- Manage Product Supply activities and collaborate with BU, Buying, and GBS teams to optimize product availability, inventory levels, and cost efficiency. Ensure on-time handling based on request within process timeline.
- Drive continuous improvement projects and initiatives to enhance supply processes and operational efficiency. Demonstrates a clear understanding of work priorities and delivers measurable process efficiency improvements
- Manage purchase orders in SAP according to SMT approved decisions, aligned with order cutoff timelines and split by DC and business model. Ensure PO conversion on time and accuracy.
- Monitor factory MDP performance, assess potential impact on market launch dates, and take corrective actions to improve delivery performance. Reduced launch delays; improved factory delivery reliability.
- Maintain article local attributes in Adifox promptly, ensuring accuracy and consistency with SAP data.
- Coordinate with PSO/PSC teams to ensure complete and accurate PO placement and ongoing PO management, follow up process and timeline.
- Proactively work with cross functional teams to resolve delivery, financial, or operational issues and ensure timely problem solving
Key Relationships:
- Global Operations teams, including Supply Planning, GBS, Sourcing, and PSO/PSC
- Market SCM operations; Category Merchandising teams; Demand Planning team; Business Unit stakeholders; Sales team
- External suppliers and vendors
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Fast learner with the ability to perform effectively under pressure.
- Strong logical thinking, with a willingness to work with details and data.
- Self‑motivated, reliable, and capable of working independently.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Proactive in responding to business changes and able to adapt quickly to new situations.
- Fluent in both written and spoken English and Mandarin.
- Proficient in MS Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
- Knowledge of SAP and familiarity with Power BI / Power Query automation is a plus.
- Strong understanding of Product Supply operations, including sourcing and operational processes.
- Solid negotiation skills.
Requisite Education and Experience / Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree is a must
- 3-5 years working experience in Product Supply related departments in a global consumer goods brand
