Director, Product Marketing/Design FOS APP
Purpose & Overall Relevance for the Organization:
This role shapes FOS's creative vision (Urban mecha style), leading seasonal design and end-to-end processes from insight to impact. It guides a high-performing team to deliver consistent, high-quality, emotionally resonant design across all channels, deciphers consumer culture, defines category strategy, leads cross-functional execution, develops talent, and partners with Product, and Product Development to align design with business goals for market-leading consumer experiences.
Responsibilities:
Strategic Leadership & Business Growth
- Define and drive the strategic category direction, ensuring cross-functional alignment.
- Identify and seize new business opportunities to fuel both innovation and commercial value.
Team Leadership & Culture Shaping
- Build a high-performing team by developing members’ functional and social skills.
- Lead by example, live the brand values, foster a performance-driven culture, and cultivate an "all-for-one" mindset.
Cross-Functional Collaboration & Process Enablement
- Establish and optimize strong partnerships with cross-functional teams and interlinked departments.
- Deeply understand and advance the product creation process to ensure efficiency and smooth execution.
- Challenge teams constructively to develop industry-leading products.
Performance Management, Systems Acumen & Representation
- Analyze and report category business performance to achieve KPIs.
- Understand product information systems and interlinked timelines, lead category optimization projects, and drive them to conclusion.
- Represent the category both internally and externally as a trusted partner for market communication and ranging discussions.

Requirements
Education & Professional Experience
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Fashion Design, or equivalent professional experience.
- 5+ years as a product management, merchandising, or senior designer, preferably with experience in lifestylebrands and a proven track record of successful projects.
- 2–3 years of management and leadership experience, with demonstrated ability to drive teams toward strategic goals.
Technical & Industry Expertise
- Deep knowledge and strong hard skills in lifestyle wear.
- Solid industry knowledge and high trend sensitivity, with ability to interpret and integrate trends into design work.
Collaboration & Communication
- Ability to work with stakeholders to understand detailed requirements and develop plans to meet or exceed them; open to feedback and constructive criticism.
- Excellent interpersonal skills to clearly communicate creative vision, concepts, and solutions to stakeholders, internal teams, and clients.
- Effective team player, capable of synthesizing abstract ideas into concrete design implications.
- Excited to collaborate closely with teams and stakeholders in a distributed model, regularly delivering design solutions for approval.
Language, Tools & Portfolio
- Fluency in English and Mandarin (verbal and written).
- Proficiency in Adobe Suite and MS Office.
- Portfolio required as part of the application.
