Director Inventory Demand Planning
Responsibilities:
Inventory planning
- Lead GCA inventory planning and management by driving x-channels to achieve the inventory target. Consolidate FRS/EC/CS/FO/MW/HK/TW demand and supply plan into one inventory plan, highlight R&O and drive actions to mitigate inventory risk, manage inventory landing as planned.
- Co-work with channel BP/buying on buy/sold/inventory rolling, monthly review and manage channel inventory at a healthy level.
- Facilitate weekly inventory meeting with SLT to update inventory status. Drive decision making and follow up with stakeholders to ensure actions are well executed.
- Monthly review inventory plan with global finance.
- Identify opportunities to optimize inventory (both total inventory and inventory structure) by cross channel management, manage FO supply in an effective and dynamic manner based on return/DTC transfer out/FO buy etc.
- Work with SCM on optimize DC network plan.
Excess Inventory Management
- Provide FRS takeback product guidance to improve customer inventory structure.
- Drive off-season inventory movement from EC/CS/FRS TB/Excess to FO.
- Drive inventory clearance, including ICM, aged, employee sales.
- Inter-company transfer between CN, HK/TW and other markets to maximize the excess inventory digestion across GCA.
React
- Own react SP, to reserve channel OTB and reserve factory capacity.
- Drive NOS monthly cross team operation, including buy-to-stock & buy-to-order.
- Work with SCM & Sourcing to drive just-in-time supply.
- Work with buying and sales to manage marketplace inventory.
- Work with IT to build up tech capabilities to enhance NOS rolling tool for effective replenishment.
Analytics
- Solution owner of TECH inventory query tool.
- Provide data visibility for Demand Planning, including omni sales, inventory, MRP, inbound and outbound.
Personnel management of direct reports
- Manage your teams in line with the Leadership framework

- Manage and develop talents within your team to develop their competencies and managing skills to grow within the DP department

- Inventory Management, MOH, YoY, Net Inv as of NS%

Educational Background/ Minimum requirements:
- Qualified to Master’s Degree level or equivalent relevant experience
- 5+ years of work experience in Demand Planning or a similar field
- 3-5 years management experience
- Experience in the sporting goods industry preferred
