Director Range & ReAct Planning

Purpose & Overall Relevance for the Organization:

 

  • Drive Product Range Planning across BU, Demand Planning, Buying and other related parties to ensure product strategic aligned with business target
  • Drive ReAct Project by supporting development of the product related working package, from both ReAct strategy and seasonal planning to achieve GCA’s top priority

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

  • Work with x-BU team to develop holistic product strategy plan as the guidance for seasonal category plan development, and support various product related reporting to serve key GTM milestone, such as Category S/O, GTM S/O, SMM S/O, Trade Meeting, etc.
  • Build up Range Architecture with the right level of details or dimensions to fit both product development strategy and business target, and governance the E2E range development alongside the GTM milestones.
  • Deliver the CCS product planning x-category by GTM milestone.
  • Drive and deliver product margin (GIM%) simulation along with GTM milestones, drive the conversation with finance and BUH on GIM% target setting, deliver on-going tracking and mitigation plan.
  • Build up comprehensive product planning/strategy related analytic methodology/reporting/tools, deliver insights through company strategy, financial target various SI/SO data, day-to-day business conversation, etc., apply findings for fact-based decisions.
  • Build up network with BU, DP and Buying team to drive better involved in real business and collaboration with multiple stakeholders.
  • Deliver various business reporting / planning per senior leadership requirement and business needs.
  • Deliver dashboard of various range planning related.
  • Drive ReAct product strategy and seasonal planning.
  • Drive team performance and development through engagement, in-time feedback, IDP, etc.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Ability to develop and implement strategy and drive towards the aimed result.
  • Strong presentation/communication, negotiation and influencing skills, especially with senior stakeholders within a global matrix organization.
  • Strong cross-functional and stakeholder management experience across commercial functions (e.g. marketing, sales, etc.) and supporting functions (finance, supply chain, etc.)
  • Strong industry knowledge, across divisions—footwear, apparel and accessories—and across all BUs.
  • Expert understanding of Greater China markets’ consumers, accounts, economic environment and commercial needs

 

Requisite Education and Experience / Minimum Qualifications:

  • 8-10  years of experience in range management/product, marketing, sales/retail required. Regional experience preferred.
  • University degree in Business or equivalent professional experience, ideally in Sales and/or Marketing, MBA preferred
  • Previous experience in managing a global matrix organization required
  • Sporting goods industry experience required
  • Fluent in English
