Director/ Senior Manager Channel Demand Planning
Purpose & Overall Relevance for the Organization:
As core business partner, lead the most accurate demand plan for all channels and ensure top-down demand plan is aligned with Channel targets and GCA strategy.
Key Responsibilities:
- Translate Account ambition to buy guidance based on Net Sales / Sell-out targets for Accounts
- Generate Account demand rolling plan, and liaise with Channel to coordinate their demand planning activities to ensure smooth channel execution
- Identify Buffer buy opportunities early on (e.g. what sells well, customer feedback)
- Support and facilitate mitigation planning by Category and Account for any OTB gaps
- Provide inputs to SP milestones representing Channel and Accounts demand requirements
- Provide omni-channel view across operating models (e.g. ReAct, FCC) and facilitate buy decision
- Support regular reporting on Category and Channel alignment while providing robust tracking vis heatmap
- Review inventory development of the Account against target & sell-out
- Monitor Account inventory development and initiate cross-channel inventory transfer
- Lead omni-projects to ensure best buy decision to support sales/inventory and profitability

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Planning function or Account Management with proven track record of successfully managing planning in a large sales organization
- Strong interpersonal skills (e.g. relationship management, facilitation)
- High personal impact and high communication skills
- Strong analytical skills
- Proven methodological skills (e.g. data analysis, trend forecasting)
- High degree of commercial and business acumen knowledge to challenge and drive consensus between Sales & Marketing
- Proven leadership and managerial skills
- Fluent in written and spoken English is a must. Skills and abilities in other language are an added plus Requisite
Requisite Education and Experience / Minimum Qualifications:
- Minimum 8 years of Planning or Account Management experience within large sales organisation
- Preferable experience in the sport or clothing industry
- Experience successfully leading, managing and developing a team (if applicable)
- Business degree from leading business school
