Manager CS Buy Allocation Analysis
PURPOSE & OVERALL RELEVANCE FOR THE ORGANISATION:
- Work with the team to achieve best allocation & replenishment plan for Retail business.
- Build up strong relationship with SCM team as well as own retail team by providing consistent and pertinent communication
- Drive action plan proactively to achieve targets
- Monitor and mange retail MOH to achieve health stock level
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Planning
- Develop, align and implement weekly, monthly and yearly merchandise demand plan to achieve the sales and inventory target as well as weeks coverage to maximize product usage.
- Drive replenishment planning forecast to maximize the business opportunities and manage the workflow downstream with stakeholders.
- Collaborate with senior planning manager to align the inventory demand forecast based on inventory and sales target.
Define business opportunities through markdowns, promotion and manage stock on hand at store level.
Allocation
- Coordinate store managers, operations team and internal AP team assortment needs per month
- Consolidate these needs into an efficient assortment range
- Analyze daily sell-through and adjust assortments and deliveries to ST results
- Actively participates to the retail KPI’s delivery
- Manage with Logistics team on-time delivery of all assortments in accordance with store sell-in and sell-through targets, provide promotion and discount
- Manage weekly, monthly and quarterly reporting and drive action plans proactively from promotion, markdowns, inventories, sales & week covers prospective under brands, product types, seasonality’s aspect.
- Collaborate with operation and SCM team on product delivery including scheduling and capacity management in both warehouse and stores
- Lead CS channel promotions, including campaign communication, system setup, and performance analysis
- Team data owner, responsible for building and maintaining core team datasets and analyzing regular performance reports
Processes
- Clear understanding Retail KPI and targets, growth strategies, related policies and processes
- Monitor data compliance, identify issues and propose solutions
- Proactively work with stakeholders to drive the best practice
- Concurrently review process and necessary enhancement to support the growth of the business in term of qualitive deliverable in the factory outlet team

REQUISITE EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE / MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- University advanced degree
- Minimum 6 years’ experience in merchandising planning / buying function
- Sensitive to ready to wear industry
- Good understanding of retail business
- Effective partnering, communication, and influencing skills (written and orally) –someone who can proactively communicate analysis/methodologies with functional partners and influence them to rethink and change their existing practices
- Rigorous business analysis - understanding and interpreting data; putting data/analysis/tools in a structured, easy-to-use format; and making recommendations that team can act upon
- Prefer very good Excel modelling skills and ability to develop useful models/tools that can be rolled out to merchandising and retail teams
- Prefer good Excel and PPT skills
