Manager Channel Demand Planning

Purpose & Overall Relevance for the Organization:

As core business partner to lead Vertical Collaboration (VC) project process. Monitor in-season sell out performance and enable a true sell-out model, maximizing sales through ultra-fast supply responsiveness while minimizing inventory across the market. Lead the most accurate demand plan for all channels and ensure demand plan is aligned with Channel targets and GCA strategy.

Key Responsibilities:

Vertical Collaboration (VC) & E2E Chase Process Leadership

  • Partner closely with Buyers, BU, Sales Operation, Supply Chain and other stakeholders to drive the success of the VC Chase initiative. Align demand, supply, and execution plans across teams to ensure smooth operations.
  • Act as core business lead for the Vertical Collaboration (VC) project, driving end-to-end (E2E) chase process design, governance, and execution.
  • Review weekly sales results to identify early Chase and Buffer buy opportunities (e.g., fast-selling items, customer feedback). Use rolling forecasts to book MCAF models and align weekly order requests with Channels and BU.
  • Secure weekly leadership approval for Chase buys and ensure smooth channel execution.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to manage MCAF bookings, Chase ETA updates, and allocation guidance across Channels.
  • Monitor VC Chase weekly sales tracking report. Conduct analysis on forecast accuracy and overall business performance, providing actionable insights.
  • Closely monitor chase inventory, identify inventory risks and drive actions to improve inventory health (e.g. allocation, stock transformation, promotion)

OTB Planning & Demand Management

  • Translate Channel and Account ambition to buy guidance based on Net Sales / Sell-out targets.
  • Manage Own Retail Outlet Value Range OTB plan to optimize assortment investments, ensuring the right product mix across price tiers to maximize sell-out and profitability.
  • Generate Channel demand rolling plan, and liaise with Channel to coordinate their demand planning activities to ensure smooth channel execution
  • Support and facilitate mitigation planning by Category and Account for any OTB gaps
  • Monthly business review by Category and Accounts with cross-function (e.g. Sell-out plan, ST% analysis, promotion proposal, OTB adjustment)

Strategic Projects & Ad-hoc Initiatives

  • Support company strategic projects. (e.g. key categories supply and demand plan, E2E planning system and AI development)
  • Lead or participate in cross-functional transformation projects to improve planning efficiency, data visibility, and decision-making quality.
  • Support regular reporting on Category and Channel alignment while providing robust tracking vis heatmap
