Job Description: Manager Creative
General Purpose
As the Manager Creative you will oversee end-to-end creative production for product-focused campaigns and digital commerce assets. Bridging the gap between copywriting and design, you will lead shooting initiatives—from concept development to execution—ensuring alignment with adidas’ global brand direction, style guides, and tone of voice. Your role will focus on high-impact visual storytelling, managing PDP content production, and driving innovative shooting solutions for China and global stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
Art Direction & Content Creation
- Lead and oversee PDP content shooting and production, ensuring high-quality visuals that enhance product storytelling and drive conversion.
- Collaborate with copywriters, designers, and external agencies to develop integrated creative concepts that align with brand and business goals.
- Manage end-to-end production workflows, including pre-production planning, on-set art direction, and post-production reviews.
Creative Standards & Innovation
- Ensure all shooting outputs adhere to global brand guidelines while adapting to local market needs.
- Stay ahead of trends in photography, videography, and digital content production, incorporating innovative techniques (e.g., AI, 3D asset creation, AR/VR).
- Optimize content for multi-channel use (e.g., e-commerce, social media) and repurposing.
Stakeholder Collaboration
- Partner with China Digital Teams, Global Digital Content Team, and Brand Marketing to align shooting strategies with campaign objectives.
- Present creative concepts to stakeholders, providing clear rationales and data-driven recommendations.
- Liaise with external vendors (photographers, videographers, retouchers) to elevate production quality.

Requirements
Education & Experience
- Degree in Arts, Fine Arts, Photography, Visual Communications, Media Production, or related fields.
- 5+ years of experience in creative shooting/production, preferably within e-commerce, fashion, or sports industries.
- Proven track record in leading PDP content production and product-focused campaigns.
- Experience managing cross-functional teams and external vendors.
- Familiarity with digital commerce ecosystems and social media platforms (Tmall, WeChat, Douyin, etc.).
Soft-Skills
- Strong leadership in art direction and on-set problem-solving.
- Ability to balance creative vision with commercial objectives.
- Excellent communication skills for presenting ideas and negotiating with stakeholders.
- Creative and energetic team player who has a passion for creative design
Hard-Skills
- Proficiency in shooting tools (camera equipment, lighting, etc.) and post-production software (Adobe Photoshop, Lightroom, Premiere).
- Basic knowledge of design principles and copywriting best practices (to collaborate effectively with specialists).
- Fluent in Mandarin and English (written and verbal).
