Purpose & Overall Relevance for the Organization:
The Manager- Data Science would be responsible for working on data solution and products to in line with overall project goals and priorities identified within DNA function. This includes execution and implementation of the advanced analytics and data product initiatives amongst key functional areas within the Market.
Key Responsibilities:
- Acts as a domain expert in the area of advanced analytics and data solutions designed and developed for functional (marketing, CTC, sales. Etc.) requirements of the business.
- Work in alignment with market and functional priorities, business strategies and objectives.
- Help in driving success through data product and solutions and to optimize business value and outcomes.
- Assess the effectiveness and accuracy of new data sources and data integration techniques.
- Develop custom data models and algorithms to apply to data sets.
- Use predictive modeling to increase and optimize customer experiences, revenue generation, ad targeting and other business outcomes.
- Help drive up-skilling and training of larger DNA community within the China business.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Hands on experience in advanced analytics, Machine Learning and data science open-source platforms such as R and Python along with DW platforms such as Hana, Hadoop etc.
- Ability to work with a cross-functional team
- Excellent communication skills
- High degree of stakeholder orientation and appropriate prioritization
- English language (fluency preferred)
Requisite Education and Experience / Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelors/ Masters Degree in any quantitative field such as Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, Economics etc.
- Minimum of 3-4 years of post-qualification professional experience in the described or and adjacent field with an established track record within any consumer (B2C) industry
- Strong experience in managing strategic projects/programs and experience in engaging with senior management
- Experience in leading data-driven transformations and/or advanced analytics projects
