Manager Franchise Buying H
PURPOSE & OVERALL RELEVANCE FOR THE ORGANISATION:
Manage franchise store merchandising planning, buying in determining store OTB, store clusters, category mix, article selection, article depth, and timely providing sales analysis, trading/fashion trend recommendation to support the business
Play a critical role to drive brand share, business growth
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Pre-Season Merchandise Planning:
- Develop buy plan (OTB) by store type (what to buy, how much, etc.), according to buying strategy, top down financial target
- Conduct historical analysis in terms of buying structure and provide proposals for pre-season buying structures at cluster level
- Based on existing analysis model to provide detailed analysis on the article level to identify key drivers for top selling articles, as well as slow moving articles
- Monitor buying quantity vs. budget; reconcile buy plan to merchandise plan
- Generate POS level order by utilizing order system, in compliance with top line buying guideline, as well as product/market knowledge
In-Season Merchandising Execution:
- Lead sales performance analysis, including but not limited to, product/stock/comp analysis etc
- Provide in season performance tracking reports
Post-Season Review:
- Give insights for seasonal and ad-hoc analysis review
Systems and Processes
- Manage with planning team/CS team for order placement
- Manage with CTC team/CS team for assortment finalization
KPI’s:
- Sell-Through %
- SKU efficiency
- Article ranking vs. Best Seller hit rate
- Reporting accuracy and timely
KEY RELATIONSHIPS:
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
4-7 years working experience, at least 2-3 years buying related experience;
Result-oriented; Strong numerical / Analytical skills;
Industry: Preferably in retail/apparel/ FMCG/White goods
Exposure: Retail / FMCG / Fashion
REQUISITE EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE / MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Degree in Business/Marketing Management preferred.
