PURPOSE & OVERALL RELEVANCE FOR THE ORGANISATION:
- Together with HQ and other region peers, this role plays a critical role of retail standard formation and landing to drive implementation, efficiency and compliance across all the doors in the scope.
- Provide inputs and support the planning and execution of national projects i.e. Own The Field, Digital & Consumer Experience, Retail Training Programs and the other Global/Market initiatives to make communication & execution simpler & consistent for all retail stores and franchise model stores.
- Initiate and execute region specific projects to help deliver business objective and consumer experience elevation.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Planning
- Obsessed with the knowledge of operational excellence, mainly focus on the procedure and related projects to make the stores with higher standard and consistency
- Input and support the analyze, optimization and development of process flows, SOPs and operations tools of every store check points in partnership with HQ Retail Excellence team
- Support Senior Director Retail Operation in developing regional projects leading to make region business achieved every objective
- Continuously enhance the implementation and optimization of ‘House of Retail’ over scope doors
- Provide inputs and support HQ team to set up retail stores overall reward & recognition scheme with cross-functional teams
- Single Point of Contact for HQ Retail Excellence team to facilitate the landing of national project
Financial
- Manage regional reward & recognition OPEX budget if any
Systems and Processes
- Input and support the communication and execution of the update of Global Store Operations Manuals and Policies
- Provide inputs and constantly review all process and Procedures to reduce complexity and improve productivity at regional level
Project Management
- House of Retail 2.0
- Own The Field including but not limited to global/local challenges e.g. Chase, Membership & FTW push
- Digital & Consumer Experience roll-out after successful pilot run: RFID, Enterprise WeChat, Dazhong Dianping, Mobile POS, Payment Integration and etc.
- Global Sales Academy and China Retail Academy program facilitation: DOM Certification, Store Manager Training Camp, In-Store Trainer Upskilling, Vertical Experts Development e.g. Bra-Fitting Specialist, Green Ambassador and etc.
KPI’s:
- Shared Retail Team KPI’s include Topline and Bottom line of Own Retail business
- FRS door profitability improving target
- Individual performance KPI’s to be defined
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
- Multiple stores retail operation management experience is preferred
- Outstanding communication skills, comfortable presenting complex topics to stakeholders at various organizational levels both in person and remotely
REQUISITE EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE / MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- At least 3-5 years’ experience in marketing/retail department of a global consumer goods company
- Minimum 5 years of experience and experience in Retail Operations is preferred
- Bachelor’s degree required and advanced degree in business or related fields preferred
- Fluent Mandarin and English required
