Develop, support and manage key initiatives across AR (adidas Runner) and Trail Run (26H2) community function to achieve GCA’s running priorities.

 

He/she will achieve this mission by:

  • Driving and guiding initiatives on AR (adidas Runner) and Trail Run (26H2) community in planning, execution and tracking of projects with specific emphasis on grassroots platforms to connect with our target consumers
  • Keep Tracking the dynamics of Community initiatives & models home & abroad with value-added analysis
  • Communicating with GCA brand marketing management regarding initiative progress, risks, and recommended future actions

 

Key Responsibilities:

Planning

  • Coordinate and manage AR & Trail Run (26H2) community development Plan & Execution with cross functional stakeholders
  • Engage with RN brand marketing leadership team & aChina senior management to identify priority initiatives and formulate key action plans to execute
  • Drive and guide key objectives for the aligned priorities, develop detailed plans and define & deliver against key KPIs
  • Ensure project objectives are aligned with strategic direction of the organization
  • Execute precisely the community strategy as it relates to the overall Marketing Plan

 

 

Management

  • Influence category and cross functional stakeholders to secure full engagement for each identified initiative
  • Manage and guide AR & Trail Run (26H2) community strategic initiatives end to end
  • Proactively recommend and align additional support to be provided
  • Work with all initiative stakeholders to build high quality and constructive project updates for Running brand marketing leadership and senior management review
  • Proactively share best practices and escalate any potential issues, risks and new opportunities identified
  • Manages the execution, monitoring and reporting of all programs/events around the previously identified initiatives

 

Financial

  • Develop the budget plan based on the Community strategic initiatives
  • Maximizes the use of budget and ensures maximum return on financial investment and T&E budget

 

Communication

  •  Possess strong communication skills, excellent command of English, on top of Chinese-Mandarin.
  • Good presenter and be able to present in high stake meeting with bilingual approach.

 

 

People Management

  • Provide Running Brand Marketing leadership team & aChina senior management with objective perspective on progress, priorities and directions while managing their expectations
  • Provide advice and constructive feedback to key stakeholders (both internal and external) to ensure high quality, timely execution
  • Act as communication bridge across the brand com, spoma, CRM, retail and BU function to build alignment on initiative direction and priorities, and proactively escalate any potential issues, risks and new opportunities identified
  • Provides strong leadership for horizontal as well as vertical reports
  • Provides coaching & feedback to cross functional team members
  • Generates a high level of teamwork between all Departments

  • Lead and drive the adidas brand as the brand-of-choice
  • Assure the successful implementation of grassroots events and programs
  • Ensure our grassroots platforms provide measurable ROI value to “pull” sales
  • Demonstrate disciplines in planning, timelines, deliverables and presentations within aChina standards

KEY CRITERIA

  • Working experience in/with running & trail run related sports experience.
  • Demonstrate strong communication skillset, event planning & organization skill set. Partnership marketing experience will be a plus.
  • 8 – 10 years proven experience in related industry. 3 years in a managerial position is preferred.
  • passion and knowledge in RUN
  • Results Orientation and A strong team player
  • Able to handle stress from timeline and working scope.
  • Attention to details and sensitive to finance data.
  • High level of integrity
