Senior Manager FRS Ops East
PURPOSE & OVERALL RELEVANCE FOR THE ORGANIZATION
The Senior Retail Operation Manager – MW (East Region) is responsible for driving regional sell-out performance and retail KPI improvement across the MW customer store network. While the role does not directly own store P&L or profitability, it plays a critical influence role in improving customers’ commercial performance through structured operational governance, productivity improvement, and disciplined execution.
This position acts as a key business partner to both franchise customers and internal Account Sales teams, ensuring strong collaboration to unlock growth opportunities, optimize inventory flow, and enhance overall store productivity and profitability.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Regional Sales & KPI Leadership
- Drive regional sell-out target achievement and LFL growth across MW stores.
- Lead improvement of CR%, UPT, ATV, and other core retail KPIs.
- Conduct structured weekly and monthly business reviews with Area Managers and customer stakeholders.
- Identify performance gaps and implement corrective action plans to support sustainable sales growth.
2. Profitability Awareness & Productivity Enhancement
- Monitor key profitability drivers including inventory productivity, markdown efficiency, staffing efficiency, and operational cost indicators.
- Partner with customers to improve stock turns, reduce aged inventory, and enhance sell-through quality.
- Provide actionable recommendations that support customers in improving gross margin and operational efficiency.
- Ensure sales-driving initiatives are aligned with healthy inventory and disciplined markdown governance.
3. Leadership & Team Management
- Lead, coach, and develop Area Managers to build strong commercial mindset and execution discipline.
- Set clear objectives and performance expectations for regional leadership team.
- Strengthen leadership capability and succession pipeline within the region.
4. Operational Excellence & Execution Governance
- Ensure flawless execution of brand standards, operational SOPs, and retail initiatives.
- Drive excellence in merchandising execution, service standards, and campaign landing.
- Monitor staffing structure, rostering efficiency, and store capability development.
- Ensure training implementation and customer experience consistency.
5. Customer & Account Sales Partnership
- Build strong and trust-based partnerships with customer branch management and key store leaders.
- Work closely with Account Sales team to align sell-in, sell-out, and inventory strategy.
- Lead regular business workshops with customers to review performance, risks, and growth opportunities.
- Act as a bridge between internal HQ functions and customer operational teams to ensure strategy landing.
6. Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Collaborate with Merchandise(IST), Planning, VM, Retail Marketing, SCM and Retail Academy teams.
- Ensure regional feedback is reflected in future planning and operational improvements.
- Support national retail governance initiatives and strategic projects.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
- Minimum 8–10 years of retail operations experience within multinational retail brands.
- Minimum 3–5 years in regional leadership role managing managers.
- Strong commercial acumen with solid understanding of profitability drivers in retail.
- Proven ability to influence external partners and drive collaborative outcomes.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Strong analytical and structured problem-solving capability.
- Fluent in local language; good command of English.
