Senior Manager Franchise Buying Kids
Purpose & Overall Relevance for the Organization:
- This role is accountable for leading the assigned product category and one channel, drawing the assortment planning strategy ,defining merchandise selection, depth, and distribution strategy across regions, formats, and clusters. The Sr Manager provides timely sales analysis, market insights, and in-season actions to drive category growth, strengthen brand positioning, and achieve commercial objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Formulate seasonal buying strategies aligned with financial targets and consumer insights.
- Develop assortment plans tailored to store formats and clusters, incorporating local market needs and store differentiation.
- Build up detailed product & store segmentation/cluster
- Partner cross-functionally with BU, Operations, Planning, and Demand Planning to deliver pre-season buying outcomes in line with GTM milestones.
- Participant in GTM process to represent the customer’s voice and provide feedback on products, range, etc.
- Feedback and provide forecast on product range and assortment in GTM process especially SMM and support account sales better understand.
- Design and implement markdown strategies, manage product lifecycle, and execute tactical adjustments.
- Lead product planning for sports event booths, ensuring alignment with commercial targets
- Provide sales performance review according to specific categories across channels
- Conduct performance analysis and store visits to recommend agile in-season actions.
- Collaborate with Operations, Retail Activation, and Retail Excellence to identify product opportunities and optimize performance.
- Design and implement markdown strategies, manage product lifecycle, and execute tactical adjustments.
- Lead product planning for sports event booths, ensuring alignment with commercial targets
- Follow in-season Trade meeting with customer and provide forecast on in-season buying plan specific to store/product range based on business needs/sales performance/inventory/demand planning, etc. and land the buying plan.
- Support OTB order landing to customer including buying structure, product ranges and packages
- Support promotion plan according to product ST and store inventory aligned with sales strategy

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

Requisite Education and Experience / Minimum Qualifications:
- University degree in Business, or equivalent professional experience, ideally with Sales /buying experience.
- 8 years+ of broad merchandising experience; ideally with both category merchandising and retail merchandising experience; Or 5 years+ of account management experience; ideally with key account management
- Strong passion for sports and deep understanding of retail and store communities
- Advanced analytical skills with ability to interpret data and market trends
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and cross-functional collaboration capabilities
- Resilience under pressure with a result-driven mindset
- Strong execution ability and team-oriented approach
- Proficiency in advanced English
