Senior Manager Retail Talent
Purpose & Mission:
This role will lead the team to act as the Retail HR CoE to provide Talent Management, Talent Development and Talent Acquisition tools and guidance from the country headquarter level covering all GCA Retail HR aspects, as well as be responsible for the activities of Hiring, Employee Engagement and Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) for own Retail stores in order to support the market Retail business growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive talent development acceleration in own retail field by developing, implementing and upgrading the Retail talent programs.
- Implement overall talent management approach in own retail stores and provide continuous upskilling to retail operations and retail HR teams.
- Implement performance management approach to drive performance culture in own retail stores.
- Drive performance review and talent potential review to drive performance culture in own retail store.
- Drive retail operations succession planning to build up talent pipeline and further to sustain own retail scale-up.
- Collaborate with Retail Academy to drive people topics training implementation in own retail stores.
- Act as the key person for other talent related project in retail, i.e. Retail Competency Review, Career Development Campaign etc.
- Design and implement proactive recruiting strategies and planning, provide recruitment services to the business activities of GCA Retail to ensure deliverables for assigned vacancy fulfilment and recruitment related projects within agreed metrics.
- Develop and maintain effective recruitment channels, ensure recruitment efficiency and quality.
- Partner with store part-time management vendors to deliver efficient support in part-time hiring, training, salary review.
- Maintain a high level of communication with own retail team and promote positive employee relations in the working environment
- Lead and develop local initiatives to meet DEI Goals and strategic KPIs and other diverse dimensions relevant activations in GCA Retail.
- Maintain a close collaboration with region HR team to implement HR tools in the field

Experience/skills required:
- Bachelor degree and above
- Minimum 8 years’ experience in HR function(s) relevant Retail HR or HR CoE experience
- Strong planning and organizational skills, ability to manage multiple priorities and contribute in a high-paced environment
- Passionate about talent development and experienced in talent program design and implementation
- Strong interpersonal skills, ability to establish strong working relationships with cross functions
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Skilled in PowerPoint, Excel
- Native Mandarin and fluent English
