Senior Manager eCommerce Buying
PURPOSE & OVERALL RELEVANCE FOR THE ORGANISATION:
This role is responsible for managing the Digital Channel Inline & Value Range merchandising planning & buying in determining platform, article selection, article depth, In-season performance and timely providing sales analysis, trading to support the EC business, special online mega moment.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Pre-Season:
- Conduct historical analysis in terms of buying structure and provide proposals for key drivers & Top sellers.
- Deliver quantitative range feedback to Inline & VR BU on behalf of channel.
- Develop assortment plan for ECOM channels, inline & Value Range by platform & time phasing.
- Develop buy plan according to buying strategy, top down financial target, bottom up article level FCST according to business demanding.
- Brief CCA Models to mitigate Mega Moment Demand by CCS Trend Lane.
- OTB Tracking & Management by Season by month.
In-Season:
- Work closely with cross functional team to monitor ST% and product performance to have quick in-season react actions based on performance.
- Plan with logistics department shipment & delivery on schedule.
- Provide the ongoing product and category performance and quantitative analysis.
- Conduct analysis to develop mark down strategy & CRP guidance by month, support markdown and clearance process.
Buying Execution :
· Closely monitor ST% and product performance by region and store format, to have quick actions based on performance.(recommendation on replenishment, chase, product transfer etc.)
· Timely and closely work with BU, Ops, Planning, Platform and lead in the process to provide ongoing product and category performance and quantitative analysis to find business opportunity
· Provide analysis to develop mark down strategy and support markdown and clearance process.
· Maintain & Monitor compliance of pre-season buy as well as planning calendar
People Management
· Lead team in daily performance.
· Coach team members & newcomers to improve merchandising knowledge.

- Solid Data analyse skill
- Solid product and merchandising knowledge with business sense.

REQUISITE EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND OTHER SKILL
- Bachelor degree required and advanced degree in business or related fields preferred.
- Minimum 8 years of work experience in merchandising planning / buying function.
- Good written and spoken in both English & Mandarin.
- Strong Excel skills and ability to develop useful models/tools.
- Good presentation and PPT skills.
